I hope now the mistery is solved: the first 308 gt 4 at Paris show, had black painted rockers! Ciao Antonino
No. But in blumels book. Who took the photos ludvigsen? It looks like a shadow. And I would think that if 7202 had a black rocker. Mr striclyferrari would have also put it there
Hi friend , that is original picture at Paris show,,no shadow ,clearly black rocker painte d. If you don't want to believe to this , and Mr . strictlyferrari is the Bible ok , no problem . Ciao
I also agree that it is just a shadow. I think these are both early press shots. Both pictures appear to be at the same location however do you notice anything odd about the car in the B&W picture Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
yes I have seen those before . I wasn't tryn to be a ***. And I appreciate Antoninos photos. Many of the show car photos were from Ludvigsen. But the question remains. Why do some have black rocker and other not. I recall on my order sheet for my car there is a box to check for strechia nera. Excuse my Italian, I am Sicilian. Should mean black stripe. can that be the difference? when ordering?
there are many differences on that car. Door hinge panel. door light. gauges on dash are in a different location. the intake hoses are different. the hood strut attach point is different. the valve covers and expansion tank are black wrinkle finish And that's just from memory! and keep in mind it was the show car. But they should of kept the badge on both sides
Hi Mike black stripe is" striscia nera" in italian language (i am sicilian too). The 2 pictures from Dusty are not in Paris show ,i have another book " The ferrari Dino 246-308 -328" by Alan Henry thath shows 2 others pictures of dino 308 (page 37) where is clearly visible the black stripe (not shadow) exactly as in Paris show pictures in Prunet's book. Ciao Antonino
