I suspect that in 5 years time, I'll still be looking back on this car thinking:

    1) It's the automotive equivalent of oversized 1980's shoulder pads!
    2) Why do people swap the tail lights and indicators over?

So my QV will finally be worth between $150,000 and $200,000 in five years?

It seems nice but with this one you can have a small garden party and have a buffet or serve drinks on the rear wing.

RHD and GTB = very cool.
If I read the ad correctly, it's been sitting for 15 years in New York state? Personally, I won't purchase a vehicle from New York State just because of the condition I found most vehicles in that came through our shop. $56,000? Guess it only takes one buyer but I would be unloading this if I even got an offer in the Low $30,000. 2cts (Crystal ball says my comment is worth 2.2cts. Five years from now)

There are basically 5 choices in 308's and I had to pick the second from the bottom in forever value :(

I wonder the story behind a rhd finding its way to NY ? In my neck of the woods it would be a bargain even at the full asking price and probably worth at least three times that money once sorted!

It's been posted on UK pages, more audience for a RHD car.

At first glance thats a worthwhile price for shipping to the UK and removing all the body kit crap.

But on closer inspection the amount of rust indicates its been stored in damp conditions. There is likely to be much more hidden rust than the obvious visible.

Its likely an option for a restorer with in-house body shop though and I would imagine some of the UK specialist restorers would be looking at this with interest.

Not just the body. Imagine how many wires have turned green.

Everything on that car would have to be replaced.

I just cannot see this being an economical project when finished - dry sump RHD or not.

If anyone here takes it home, can we start a sticky restoration thread? I want to see how wrong (or right) I am.

There are a few RHD dry sump GTBs for sale at 85-90k quid. If you're feeling lucky, save yourself a whole lot of pain and buy one of those. If I was starting my journey again I would take this on since I'm moving to the UK and prefer the GTB but not at $56k given the can of tin worms it might be

"Storage" is a strong word for what that thing has been through. More like abandoned.

I would buy it for 20k. Altough getting it shipped to Australia would be a pain. Always wanted a white GTB
