What a discussion! I've never seen anticipation and build up like it! Thankfully I ordered and put a deposit down on mine well over a Month ago.

I look forward to Finally seeing it in the flesh at Geneva On 13th & 14th March and can't wait to spec mine.

I've bought the reg plate too.....

I've just realised it's two weeks until the press blackout ends I believe, which might mean pics, and then almost a month from now before we see the wretched car in the flesh.

What other titbits can be thrown to us between now and then?

No way. According to this thread and posts from people who've seen the car, Ingegnere's sketches have been the closest to the real thing.

The wheels are the 488 FJ50 wheels, so they are definitely wrong. Looks like a render and info based on various bits from this thread.

Well, if you think about it, Ferrari have already used 'Superfast' and 'SuperAmerica'. I thought with Uncle Sweaters push for more sales and this silly goal of ten thousand cars a year that perhaps the name needs to encompass Ferraris global market. Maybe Uncle Sweater can promote Ferrari's stock offering in the name and call it the Ferrari 'SuperRACE'. Wait, that doesn't sound right...

Yes. I was thinking that, or number of valves per cylinder, or seats.

I was referring to other cars from the past, not this one. This will be another wonderful two seater.

Hoping we get Daytona. Also hope they haven't taken the edge out of the car. It's one of few modern production ferraris that will bite back If not treated with respect. I was fortunate to do the corsa pilota program at fiorano this fall and on the second day they had us move all the 488 into race mode but we had to leave the f12 in sport. Getting close!

Just to come back to some design discussion , you know its really not the Kammtail (that's just a flattened/ straight rear end for aero) that is the source of the discussion, but rather the more artistic elements on the rear of the F12, which took me time to warm up to but now I think it looks great.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kammback

Some interesting trivia, first Ferrari I am aware of with a Kamm tail is the 250 GT Lusso, it also features a shark nose. Both elements are shared with the F12b. And both were designed by PF...

I am eagerly awaiting to see how this new one looks and also to find out the name. Maybe someone here has already mentioned it!

Perfect way to start a new week ! thanks !! This should be really close to the real deal. When I see some major automotive publications continue to post some miserables P-Shop renderings I want to roll on the floor.

    Fchat. The truth.

    Thanks for the latest rendering.

I think there is a little too much length from the front wheel to the door. And the height of the hood maybe too low for the space needed for the engine and intake. Also the nose seems just slightly a bit long and busy.

But then I haven't seen the car.

You've done an impressive job since you've never seen the car either and only work from your imagination.

Are you studying design and in particular auto design? I predict a very successful future for you!

Thanks for the generous gifts of your creativity.
