Do you know what? You have the YouTube, we have the facts:)

And, when you start a video without fully charged batteries, what of your bs statement is relevant?

    1. That may be so, but the track diagram shows the slower T7.

    2. What about them? The only point I've been making all along is that Salomondrin does not do serious comparisons. On a pure Porsche day, someone has been around faster in a GT3 RS.
McLaren P1 vs Porsche 918 Spyder (both on Trofeo R tyres) - McLaren Life

    3. The only time I've mentioned worn out tyres is in relation to the COTA laps because that's what the comments from the driver say. And I can't see that there's anything to excuse even. Your accusations don't even make sense.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idV6zMiWUIU

    4. And where was his race suit? I also remember when it was first posted on McLife, the driver is not a pro, nor was it a serious lap, he was giving rides.

    5. Which is irrelevant if the diagram indicates the wrong track layout. This is really simple stuff I don't know why you're struggling with it. If someone laps Laguna, should I add it to a page with a diagram of the Laguna layout, or one with a diagram of the Portimao layout? Or what if they lap Hockenheim Short, add it to Hockenheim Short or Hockenheim GP? Same track right, it's just a different layout. If the diagram does not indicate the configuration driven, the time does not get added to that page. The page I added contains a diagram of the configuration driven, the other does not. I'd have to go back to demonstrating how to put a square block in a square hole etc. to make this explanation any simpler.

Yeah, it happens. Even professional journalists screwed it up.

No, everything I've said traces to demonstrated facts and firsthand testimony from people (3 independent people) who own more than one of the big 3 hypercars. At least one of whom says the 918 is the best road car he's driven, but isn't the fastest on track. I can't see how that makes the 918 look bad. It's just that some try to make it look way better than it actually is, go on about 'inferior bespoke Cup 2 tyres', 'P1 cheating by using Trofeos', 'HL Mode lasts forever', 'Chris Harris is a shill', 'SCD owner put the 918 in the wrong settings deliberately so that it would lose,' etc. All comments made by various people in this discussion.

Where is the pop corn? can someone pass me the pop corns? :)

This is fun, watching Mycroft/Lieven/LMFAO trying to dig deeper into the hole to get out. He should be able to do it soon, coming out the other side of the Earth!

So much fun watching him exposed himself as a fraud.

Yeah, the facts in this case being that he only showed the last 2 laps of 4 consecutive laps and the lap timer was mysteriously not working until the start of the 3rd lap.

The batteries weren't charged after 5 minutes. Wow, useless.

The statement made is also very vague. Couple of laps before those 2 consecutively to make 4 consecutive laps in total, or pitted after the first two, out lap, then 2 more? The lap timer suggests the latter.

Basically Whoopsy has taken advantage of someone who confesses to not knowing how the hybrid system works. They don't know that the number of laps prior doesn't make any odds unless they were consecutively before, back-to-back with the two in the video.

So why is the second of the 2 hot laps prior recorded at >5 minutes long? Explain that, oh honest Whoopsy.:D Did the lap timer only start working on the 3rd lap?:D Bin playin' up all day had it squire? This time the lap timer made a typo. Pure gold.

I'm not the one trying to claim a lap time, whilst simultaneously arguing that the timer used was faulty.:D

Oh you haven't read Whoopsy's post on McLife. He suggests the lap timer may have been 'faulty'... up until the 3rd lap of course. This time the lap timer made a typo it appears, a selectively placed one, just like last time.

McLaren P1 vs Porsche 918 Spyder (both on Trofeo R tyres) - Page 5 - McLaren Life

Maybe what really happened was a time vortex, the 918 went 3 minutes into the future, and a jet engine randomly landed in Whoopsy's bedroom in 1988 and a guy in a bunny suit said, "in 28 years, 3 months and 10 days someone will ask about a lap time, just tell them the lap timer was faulty, okay?".:D

I voted for it, it'll help everybody.

Lol, how desperate to try and regain some creditability, arguing with the guy who was driving the car and did the film.

This make it worse for your creditability. You are only watching youtube videos and Andrew is the one who filmed it and posted it and drove it and said there was 2 laps done before the video. How clear can that be that you can't understand you have lost?

He has been proven to be a big fat liar on the internet, again and again. Of course he has gone to desperate mode trying to find at least some holes some where so he can claim something that he is right.

So his new obsession is '5mins'. LOL

Why are you so concerned about the other 2 laps? Andrew wasn't. And there are no facts about the other 2 laps either as he hasn't spoken about what happened.

You have completely no idea whether he did a charging routine to top up the battery or he did 2 fast laps where he wasn't concerned with battery state.

You also have no idea, proof or not either way, that whether he did continuously lapped the circuit or stopped somewhere.

How did I take advantage of Andrew again? He doesn't know much about the hybrid system, and he doesn't care wither. He just drives. Most people do that. He wasn't trying to set a time or 2 with a full battery just to prove you are a liar or not. He is having fun at the track with a 918, nothing more. Why are you reading so much into these details or non-details?

I simply reposted his answer to the background of his video, that's it. And the back ground is that the car was driven there, did 2 laps, then filmed the 2 laps.

And where is that damn pop corns?

Oh btw Mycroft, I keep the same screen name everywhere, I got nothing to hide, unlike you who needs to keep creating handles cause the previous ones got banned. Or is that you want to hide your true identity across forums and that's why you need to create so many screen names? And use the alternates to 'support' your twisted world?

Unlike you, I don't dream of stuff up, and write lies after lies everywhere and had to keep a close eye on all the forums just so I can cover all the lies. You can cross reference all you want between here and McLarenLife's posts, they are all gonna be about the same thing, nothing is different, unlike your posts.

I find it amazing that mycroft continues to argue with 918 owners about the performance capabilities of their cars. Whoopsy and Apolo have had their cars for at least 18 months and both have tracked them extensively. Below is an itemized list of hands on experience mycroft has had with any hypercar:

There's nothing to argue about, the lap timer says 5:00+, that's not a hot lap unless you're in a Reliant Robin. He said he did 2 laps before that, but not necessarily directly before that, only you are saying that.

If the previous lap had been a hot lap, surely it would say 2:1X at the very least.

Yeah, likely because they were done before the pit stop that caused the 5:00 lap time. Only you construed some partial facts to make it look like 4 consecutive laps. 4 laps total is no problem, the P1 GTR can do 2 hot laps consecutively at Silverstone, 1 recharge lap and then 2 consecutive hot laps again, without any drop off in pace.

Sure I do, the 5:00+ lap indicates a pit.

The details are important because you are trying to falsely fill them in, claiming 4 consecutive hot laps, but the lap timer proves that you are lying.... again. You've already tried claiming a faulty lap timer on McLife, are you going back on that now?

Your name suits you. Type rubbish, then when it's proven to be ridiculous you say, "whoopsy I made a typo, whoopsy lap timer was wrong, whoopsy maybe it wasn't 4 hot laps in a row like I claimed, whoopsy I never said that, whoopsy I banged my head."

Apparently it's only relevant when you decide that it is.

    - Chris Harris is very relevant, except when he isn't.
    - The skill of a former F1 driver is extremely questionable and very relevant because the P1 wasn't the fastest in his hands that one day.
    - The skill of K-egg's (noob) test driver is completely IRrelevant because the car he drove was made by a company that you don't like.

Here's a tip: when your opinion is labeled as bat**** crazy by everyone but yourself you might want to use arguments that are at least somewhat consistent. Otherwise you end up arguing with yourself, and no one would want to see that..

Yeah I love his logic when he tries to prove the driver isn't a pro. Here is his logic
1.Driver isn't a pro because he was chit chatting.
    2.Driver isn't a pro because he didn't use telemetry.
3.Driver isn't a pro because he didn't wear a racing suit as if a racing driver cannot drive without them.

With his logic I can prove that several drivers like Tiff Needell, Jonathan Palmer,Mika Hakkinen,Andy Wallace,Justin Bell are non pro because I can find the video of them driving the cars while satisfying above conditions.

And what's more is that we can become pro drivers just by putting a racing suit, telemetry according to his logic.

2.That Cayman GT4 was modified by GK West and driver was by no means an amateur. And what's more?It was running on Hoosier slicks as stated by Ghost guy at Mclife. Also if you say NSx is to be slower than GTR then it just proves that magazines use poor driver as GTR only did 1:26s
5.So you would believe the time posted by magazine unavailable in that time period not surprising when you believed than 3.8km Contidrom existed.

Enjoy arguing with yourself, you have lost me with that logic especially regarding pro drivers.

    - Go read what drivers have to say about his tyre test.
McLaren P1 vs Porsche 918 Spyder (both on Trofeo R tyres) - McLaren Life

    - In a very limited amount of time after he'd crashed it.

    - Well factory drivers are usually regarded as better than magazine testers and usually put in faster laps, especially on the 'ring, where the difference is often 12-20s.

    - Here's a tip, my arguments are using things said by three other people, so how have they been labelled as crazy by everyone but me?

Irrelevant in the broad scheme of things. The only point I wished to convey was that Salomondrin's times are BS and the evidence is on my side. It also doesn't change the fact that someone has ran faster in a GT3 RS either.
McLaren P1 vs Porsche 918 Spyder (both on Trofeo R tyres) - McLaren Life
    http://www.germancarforum.com/threads/porsche-918-vs-mclaren-p1-vs-laferrari-topgear-evo-etc.52070/page-100#post-819574

LOL, the GTR was driven by Salomondrin's crappy driver, the NSX was driven by a proper driver, that's my point. The NSX is a total dog turd, only professional courtesy prevents journalists labelling it as such. The fact it somehow went faster than Salomondrin's LT, Hyuara, LP750SV, Veyron SS and ACR laps just shows Salomondrin for what he is.

**********: Honda NSX vs Porsche 911 Turbo vs Nissan GT-R

Part 1 Honda NSX vs Porsche 911 Turbo vs Nissan GT-R: RUNNING THE NUMBERS

Part 2 HONDA NSX VS PORSCHE 911 TURBO VS NISSAN GT-R: Race to 150mph

Part 3 Honda NSX vs Porsche 911 Turbo vs Nissan GT-R: On the limit

The point was that people get configs wrong. Easily done with some tracks. Take a look at Goodwood Hillclimbs.

Goodwood Hill climb lap times - FastestLaps.com

Is Jenson Button in a P1 really slower than a GT Pro in an M600 by 3s, 4s slower than a Nismo GTR, only slightly quicker than an LFA? Is he a bad driver? No, his record says that he would p1ss on d'Ambrosia from a great height. Perhaps he just didn't try that hard due to pro-contract and lack of familiarity with the track. Get the picture?

I am only correcting your point on Nissan GTRs time.No it wasn't done by Salomodrin.
It was done by road and track
Battle of the Misfits: Z/28 vs Viper TA vs GT-R vs V12 Vantage S

And by the way,who takes Hill climb lap times seriously when we have even Group Cars,GT1 slower than GT3 cars while from the lap times I have seen on track with same configuration they are significantly faster.GT1in 2000s being slightly faster
