Thank you! It would be useful for those who have seen the car to tell us if its close enough. Anyway very nice effort.Your designs increase the value of this forum.
looks great. As an aside Ferrari have done a much better job of keeping pictures of the actual car under wraps so far, than they managed with the F12tdf (pic of the car caught undisguised and pictures of the configurator leaked) and even the F12 (pic from one of the previews) when it first came out.
True, very professional, but it is starting to drive me crazy. Do they not care for the Clienti's mental health ?
Agreed, bad rendering. HOWEVER, I do love the 4 tail lights. Will give the F12 a classy look that goes back to various historic models.
Great work thank you again. As previously commented I think that is pretty accurate but something goes wrong at the front where it appears just too long. The rear looks spot on but good to hear from someone who has been at the presentations?
This is fantastic - great work Ingegnere. I look forward to seeing how close you are when I see the real thing later this week.
Thanks Ingegnere. Something i've always wanted to do was draw cars but never managed anything anywhere near your incredible work. Looking back to last year i think the Lusso was announced on 8th Feb prior to Geneva so as the F12M will also be seen at Geneva we should be hearing something imminently?
I think the same thing and I sincerely hope that the car is revealed in these days because the wait is unnerving. At least it is for a lover like me. I remember in recent years only the LaFerrari was presented at the show and online at the same time.
+1... it's about time Ferrari releases the pics and specs, no? Thanks all for the kind comments. It's been fun peeling this onion but using valuable brain bandwidth, so bring on the real pics. Cheers.
the 'fan dance' has gone on for 115 pages; is a date known yet for the public release of actual pictures?
For each new model Ferrari seems to start off with computer images where the car sits too low to the ground and always with the same background for the pictures. Even that would be a useful start... The magazines must already have some pictures but with an embargo date.
Absoutely, I remember the two first pictures of the F12 were completely false, the wheels being far too big. http://images.hgmsites.net/lrg/ferrari_100383665_l.jpg
At the preview they pretty much said it would be launched at Geneva - there were no comments on an early public reveal.
I'll tend to agree with Tim and MailbuGuy on this one. Also, the wheel arch gap will be larger. But otherwise, very nice rendering.
1st. of March is not close to the Geneva show. 1st. of March is the first day of the show. If the press is muzzled until March 1st, we won't see it until they reveal it at the show, which in turn will most likely be on that day.
I'm sure they want the momentum from the launch carrying over to the Geneve show. If they launch well before the show, the 'heat' will have died off before the show itself. Besides, the media love to quote 'best Geneve launch' on a car release. The news is also a product that needs to be sold and bought.....
Sorry, My mind was in 2016 where the press days were the 1st. and 2nd. But anyway, the press days are 7th. and 8th. So okay yes, there's a chance we get to see the car a week prior
