the article was Last updated: 13th Jan 2016.

Most of the Investment type articles eg Haggerty's https://www.hagerty.com/
and the HAGI http://www.historicautogroup.com/ are all showing a slowing a drop on the top index back to October 16 Values but collectable Ferrari values are still showing growth of 1.57%.
What is interesting from the commentaries is the swing towards Modern Classics like Modern V12 Ferrari's.
Rarity, condition and history still getting sales.

True, however the US kick the Auction season has already started with R&M in Arizona
    http://www.rmsothebys.com/documents/about/Auction%20Calendar.pdf

and MECUM in Feb although I don't see this as a good place to sell a Ferrari but a great place to buy

Both these are seen as a Barometer for the year

My recollection is that Mercedes' re-engineered swing axle with low pivot below the diff was introduced in the 300SL roadster, the gull-wing still retaining the half-shafts directly attached to and level with the diff. I believe that the 'pagoda' 280SL also had he low-pivot swing axle.

Yes, it was re-engineered for the '57-'63 300SL roadster.

that was a post-bubble auction, lots of correcting prices. e.g. $200K for a 512TR, also $100K for a TR and again for a desirable early Pantera.

Some odd cars too, smells like they struggled to get sellers to consign cars. I wouldn't normally expect to see a TR7 in a Bonhams auction, they are mass produced junk.

That also fits with the latest comments about the change in direction of the market.

But that's not a reflection of what's happening here. Small market for the 456 and they have always been a hard sell. Asking prices of upto $200k for the ones on carsales is pure fantasy, hence not sold. IMO an auto 456 is a $100k car and at the top end a manual 456M is a $160k car, less for U.K. Delivered

You have a beautiful car that's fast and great to drive.

I'm only kidding mate. Jodi wouldn't let me sell it if MY life depended on it. She (and I for that matter) love that car. She's not that keen on letting me take it on the next GG though. She thought I mistreated it.
