'Official' F12M Rumours and Launch

Plenty of cycnicism on here re 70th cars which I partially get but the craftsmanship on some of the interiors is extraordinary and very labour intensive ditto some paint. Time consuming....

Those who have one coming are committed now and have not yet been told the price....."nice work of you can get it "

Seems odd, a six month life before the new TTV6 and then another short life-not a way to make money and never been done before? Mind you if they went that way, with a V6, they could call it a Dino?

Definitely a bit odd. One thing to add is that the Cali T "30" would not be a 6 month only thing. It would be an 18 month run, going from Frankfurt 17 to the Cali T replacement in Geneva 2019. My thought is that it would be easier to introduce a V6 if the customers had the V8 Cali T "30" as an option. Then in 2019 the car would be available either as a cheap entry level V6 or a more exclusive V8 hybrid replacing the Cali T.

But then again, they may also just introduce a "30" version of the T and then a "Dino" in 2018 that is not based on the Cali T replacement in 2019. Then we'll have an all new entry level car in the lineup which could bear the Dino name.

Amazing work.

Notwithstanding this being your last drawing, I would suggest that the scoop behind the rear three quarter window is not recessed as much as shown. Instead, I would suggest it is more a thin rectangular cross section intake positioned more vertically (relative to your profile). There is more mass behind the scoop, which might give the car a higher appearance, at least from the side. Also, I think the rear spoiler is angled more sharply upwards than here.

Just details, but may be worth considering given the comments here about the rear being high/wide relative to the B.

Greg B knows these cars well....I'm still not 100% convinced, and I'm trying hard to convince myself.....regardless, owning one can't hurt....

Can't understand the draw of theses Paganis. There's not a shred of design sophistication - reminds of the overwrought Spyker "creations". Check out the rear lights and semi-circular spoiler.

But then again, what to expect from someone who managed to ruin the Countach (!!) with his tacky 25th anniversary body-kit. Or maybe that's just me ;-)

 

Love the Pag cars but this one is ugly.

 

It's probably the extreme high price point for these cars and the lure of getting a one off car.

I'm with Traveller, I much prefer the idea of a F12M Aperta. Something oozing powerful elegance, something less stylised than the 599 SA.
