On camping trips I sometimes buy the 'Backwoods' cigars. Usually moist and sweet, but also something you can smoke while setting up a tent in the rain. Cheap as hell...

A better memory was spending New Year's Eve in Cochabamba, Bolivia with my brothers. Stayed up all night next to the hotel pool, smoking Cubans and drinking Chilean red wine, solving all the worlds problems. I'd love to repeat it, but they've all got kids!

That crazy wind storm is over so finally out after a couple days. Didn't get my act together to cook out. Enjoying this and a Knob Creek or two after a good day.

I liked the Davidoff Nicaraguan more. Still very smooth yet not as full as I was expecting.
The Padron Series 26 - earlier pic I posted was fantastic.

Another value stick I like is the Camacho Ecuador. Nice easy pull and I keep a couple around.

It appears we have similar taste! The only downside for me on the Ecaudor is the harsh start. The first .5" - 1" is quite rough for me. Once we pass that its a great stick.

Where do you pick up sticks in MD?

This is where I usually go. Really nice place. 10% off for military and veterans is appreciated too. Great selection of cigars and accessories. I don't smoke there - my wife wouldn't let me back in the house. She thinks it's bad enough picking up the smell after a quick stop.

The Humidour Cigar Shoppe on the Hill in Maryland

(Edit: And it's right down the street from Adamas's diamond shop.)

And three other good shops close by so great to have choices depending where I am.

    Davidus Cigars
    Faders (limited supply)
    Mt Washington Cigar Co

Evening treat, clear skies, warm out, watching stars and a couple owls stated talking. Maybe they'll get into caterwauling. Amazing vocals. RP Platinum, a favorite.

They are 703's and an ASR 750 sub. It is the perfect two channel stereo setup to listen to old vinyl, CD's and Reel to Reel tapes.

Nice shot! Never done fishing like that. A good friend had a big boat near Hatteras NC, but the few times I was there the weather kept us from getting out the inlet. My fishing is now limited to Wegmans.
