Just came back to the thread to say job well done. Pretty amazing what you were able to pen down. On a side note. WHY are they using a car with no CF for the press photos. The steering wheel and interior panels desperately need CF to look the part. Hope the painted rear diffusor can be left unpainted or in optioned in CF.

Ingegnere - absolutely amazing job as always. Thank you! Overall I like it and the more 'technical' and 'aggressive' stance. It's a interesting half way house between the F12 and the F12 TDF. Well, I like the front and side views. But then I get to the rear and I'm thinking 'why did they get a completely different designer to do the rear end?' It doesn't seem to sit well with the rest of the car and is the poorest aspect of the design in my opinion. Interior looks good, but steering wheel is starting to get a bit too 'Mercedes' for me. Those lower buttons just look cheap - surely Ferrari could have designed something more elegant? Overall, it's a nice evolution with it's quirks (typical Ferrari!). It doesn't over shadow the F12, it's just different.
Why? If you know your history, there is a wonderful symmetry to it. Ingeniere, brilliant work, congratulations and thank you for all your efforts in keeping us tantalised visually in the absence of real images.
At the preview we were shown a clay model in a matt grey, many felt it looked better in that colour. Also , now looking at the photos, and a little like the TDF, it actually looks far better and more coherent in the metal so to speak. The interior really is lovely, with a lot of design details that will be fun to spec. It also looks like a car that could be done in a GT style or a more extreme sports way. It is a success already as we have all read here. It is another great Ferrari.
You guys win today! Nailed it! Ingegnere wins the arts contest. So much anticipation these days to finally confirm what we already knew And I win my own prediction, I knew I was going to feel a bit 'meh', best thing is the F12 remains ace.
Looking at th einterior more closely, I think you are right and work, read money, is needed on the interior to decide which way you go, GT or Sports, and has the possibility to look an awful lot better than as shown. This car has the potential to be expensive. I have to say I have never been blown away by the initial Ferrari photoshopped shots of nay model and nearly always have preferred in the flesh or real images.
It looks stunning in real life and the matte grey at the preview was truely gorgeous - we'll go through the business of F12 owners saying they don't see much difference - but there is - the new car has progressed a lot. Honestly, so what, I'd be proud to have either the F12 or the Superfast in my garage. Both are great cars - one is simply a great progression of the other. As a soon to be Superfast owner, I'm sure 3-4 years from now I'll be saying I'm happy with my car when the new version/replacement comes out.

Ingegnere, as others have said great work. When I went to the preview it was good to see how you'd nailed or, nearly nailed, so many elements of the car.
A sense of relief washed over me soon as i saw the pics. Its not bad...just don't have that same "gotta have it" feeling like when i first saw the F12. Happily holding onto my car for a few more years at least
Thanks! I will say that I quite like the name. Lol I'm really excited to see this car in person. I like it so far. I still feel quad tail lights is unnecessarily busy, however it's really nice looking on the pics and will look far better in person.
To those early adopters, who put their deposits down a while ago, what kind of delivery dates have been indicated ?
As expected, with Pininfarina absence, Ferrari design is losing on sensuality. On new 812 Superfast I can notice loads of German precision and American muscularity, but unfortunately I see much less delicate Italian style. I am trying hard not to comment headlights, those are... well, I will stay silent on that. Back on topic, car is not about design only. This thing will be technical miracle, so I am sure we will be blown away with performance figures and excellent handling.
Looks like in house design team favors complexity over purity. I'll wait to see it in the flesh - but overall would say this new car does not date the F12.
RHD we will be lucky to see this year. Having looked at it more, red is a traditional but poor choice for this car. I think, as has been posted by those that have seen it in the flesh, that GT, Ferro, GS and more subtle colours rae the way to go nad could dramatically change the look. I also see big decisions on the rear as regards whether the diffuser is in body colour or not One thing for sure, and only Ferrrai can do this, is that the F12b has not been overshadowed and the tdf, to me, still reigns supreme.
Now, people have not been right about this before, but finally we DO have a Corvette front. Agree with Milanno on the headlights, to me they are rocambolesque.
I have the first build in the market I would take the car - a November build - so would be a Jan or Feb 2028 delivery. I'm going to do Tailor Made so that may cause significant slippage as I can see there are so many areas to tweak this design.
