Yes, Pininfarina are who they are for a reason. Their designs no matter how edgy or futuristic are always organic feeling. Look at the difference between the FF and GTC4 Lusso. The Lusso is easily understood and immediately palatable. The FF takes more time to understand and can't be understood fully until seen in the flesh. I like the GTC4 however I feel that the FF might be a better design. Which will still be interesting in 30 years? Perhaps the one that looks more natural and has a bit of mystique to it... It makes me upset when I think about what could have been in store for PF had Andrea not died so terribly...

For me the diffuser and a couple of other features have to be in contrasting colours. The matte grey car looked way better than the Rosso 70th anniversary launch red in the tent. Although, when I did the atelier session after the preview, the red looked a lot better under the atelier lighting. Carlom was there at the same time so he could give his views also. I much prefer the new interior to the old - but you're right, it's going to get expensive to get the "perfect" configuration. But that's Ferrari!!!

The car is absolutely stunning from the head on and side views!!! The rear is a bit weird, reminding me of the Huracan as the spoiler covers the lights cluster. Could be a lot better in real life though, as Ferraris usually are. I love the red diffuser though; black accents irritate me as they make a car look cheap and unfinished. The interior is gorgeous, sporty yet elegant! Overall... WOW, another great Ferrari!!!

PS: Ingegnere, you sir do justice to your screen name!!!

Before to make unnecessary comparisons with viper and corvette, just wait to see it in flesh, it is clear that grilles and vents in computerized graphics are badly enhanced, the perspective is not the one you will have in flesh, rear is spectacular, finally it mixes tradition (4 lamps) with muscular aggressiveness and blown spoiler from 488. Sides very similar to F12, always beatiful, front is very aggressive and elaborated, but in flesh, with the right luminance of colors and the real POV will be a masterpiece of sight. Remember MAnzoni knows its job very well.
Just curious on the possibility or not of a GTO/TDF version for this one and above all on the new style for the 488 VS. The fantastic things about 812 superfast is the way it joins past (sides), present (front end) and future (rear end). In particular the rear, may recall Camaro and american muscularity, but it's stunning IMO,with 2 tail lamps it wouldn't work and look good, but I think it's the part that makes me stunned the more and it's the very change of this new beautiful 812.
Looking forward to see videos and full specs/descriptions on technicalities and aero/mechanical improvements.
Predict a downforce just a bit under TDF, maybe about 200 kg
With the future V8, v12 sporty edition and FXXK EVO the games will be more and more challenging. FORZA FERRARI

+1000 Only Ferrari can do this, about the color, greys are not my favourite but I agree with you, however, I think Rosso 70 anni can be a special cloth in flesh, I would also consider blu corsa, giallo triplo strato, and why not the master of all blues: Blu Pozzi
To people disliking vents and grilles, just think about beautiful Nero Daytona and similar :)

With improved performance also comes improved aerodynamics. The gils and flaps and holes and cuts are there for a reason beyond cosmetics. With 800hp on tap aerodynamics play an even bigger role than on the F12b.

As with all great designs it will take some getting used too. I had the same thing with the launch of the F12b. Didn't like the pics, saw it in the flesh and fell in love.

Best wheels ever on a Ferrari IMO. Name sounds like a Marvel superhero :)

I LOVE IT!! I really like the F12B, and I remember this same morning when it was revealed, and we all discussed it. I was amazed, but recall not being fully certain how much I liked its side view (convinced, though, it would look much better in person, which it certainly proved to be). My immediate reaction to the side and front view of the 812S was, without hesitation, WOW!! I'll need to see the back in person to appreciate it to the same degree, though I like it. Well done, Ferrari!
