You can definitely tell the new design language after the GTC4, the JP50 and now this. As Milanno said, the cars are losing the sensuality/fluidity for a tenser/taut look.
I was just sitting in my favourite coffee shop reading in the GTO thread as a potential buyer when I got an email showing the Ferrari 812 superfast. Wow! I didn't expect this. It's a long time ago a Ferrari gets me on first sight (it's been the GTO in 2010). This one is very nice and the specs sound incredible. What impresses me most is the n/a engine! There are rumours Lamborghini works on turbocharged engines for the Aventador successor. Great news the V12 keeps a n/a engine! Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk Pro
Is the egg crate grille truly absent on this front engine v12?! If not optionable, IMO this is a miscue that would have tied this car to its lineage - something on first viewing this car sorely needed.
Really we need to experience these cars in person to really make an educated decision. I would say that the SP30 front grill treatment looked pretty cool in the pics and this is very similar. The black mouth being suspended within the opening around it and mesh rather than grated grill. I think seeing this car in person will change some opinions.
When I bought a speciale I put in my interest in this car well over 16 months ago and have a earlier-ish slot. But I am so disappointed in the visuals of this car. Will wait to see in person of course. But the vette front and especially rear are poorly done. Sides are meh. I do Like the interior. Dumb name, embarrassing actually. Makes the f12 a more attractive car option than I thought possible. Really bumming. Someone please photoshop the red car into a few different colors!
I was about to post that I think this car could look amazing and totally transformed in GT or Argento and then this was kindly posted by Ohno which makes my point for me Image Unavailable, Please Login
Tonton (It litterally means "Uncle" but you say that to a friend that is older than you... I suppose you are... you had your first ferrari I was still in my father's b...) hope you're not angry because of the Picture thread...
By the way, could someone tell whether the wheels are different left and right (like on the 348 and F512M, the only standard Ferrari to get that feature as far as I'm aware)? all pictures are from the left, with the spokes oriented with the wheel turning direction (counter clockwise for the left). If the same wheels would be used on the right it would seem odd IMHO.
It was just a little early when this thread was all about the 'rumours and launch' and now we have two threads to shift between when we haven't even had the launch! Once the car has been launched and exists in the flesh and we see different schemes, then to me, the time would have been right and thus a clean break. As it is we now go from thread to thread!

Less to do with when deposited and more to do with how valuable a client one is. UK assume last Q1 2018 and better be a big client to get pre end 2019.
Agreed. And the front tyres are now similar to the TDF in size - 275s (but MPSS rather than Corsas as on the TDF). Would be interesting to see how the handling compares to the TDF. Of course, the TDF driving experience would be more raw, but performance numbers look close if not identical.
Just viewed in blu corsa, absolutely destroys any prejudice, front is harder and longer to understand and please the eye, all the rest, rear especially, it's very attractive and rich of character. Come on guys, Ferrari cannot remain stucked on f12 plain design and style for ever, this is ready for a GTO/XX program if they ever decide to implement it. The rear is superlative in any color, front in red better on f12 at a first sight, but in grey or blue will be perfect and rich of personality
