Repost.......................................................by about 12 months! Phil Hills son now owns it....tough life..
Yeah there is something special about a OHOS F12 full of sticky interior bits than the latest and greatest from Ferrari. UK imported. Wonder if that is 91k kms or 91k miles: https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ferrari-360-2003/SSE-AD-4561934/?Cr=0 I want the bloody seats!
That company is a sad story [like Bertone] once the founder past and the son died in a motorycle accident, they lost manufacture, all went pear shape and sold to India. Italians lost many great design houses: Pininfarina Bertone Italdesign Ghia If Enzo was around he would have purchased it. Need somebody to step up and "Make Italy Great Again"
LOVE the motor in it "12 cylinders or walk" Can you get a clear bonnet as a cheap $50k option? When i was recently in Italy was going to hire a F12, but i had a passenger so had to hire a California.
Cool, I wonder if it was cost cutting that stopped it or the internal design aeronautical heads got their way? new designs are a but to fussy even IMO or are they panda.ring to the new Chinese market ( read really fussy stuff) , heaven forbid did I just write that...
Pretty sure the 458 was the last Ferrari designed by Pininfarina. The 488 and F12 were designed in house by Ferrari. After Pininfarina gave them the beautiful 458 design. lol
F12 was a Pininfarina design and the last production V12 they designed for Ferrari. The La Ferrari was an in house design. The 458 was the last production V8 designed by Pininfarina.
You had me thinking about this so I just looked it up and it looks like the F12 was designed in house by Ferrari. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_F12berlinetta LaFerrari was in house Ferrari also. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LaFerrari 488 was in house Ferrari also. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_488 458 by Pininfarina. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferrari_458
It says "in collaboration with Pininfarina" Knowing how the politics work in Ferrari, I'd bet that PF did the majority of the work. You only have to look at the 812's butt to know how capable Ferrari's inhouse designers are
