Better. I wish they kept the predominately yellow car though... but it's better. I think the changes look better on this car. I guess it's just hard to tell until we see them on the track.

Livery looks good on this RS17. Seems like all the sponsors are in order. The shark fin is more pronounced on this car compared to the other two which is probably an aero advantage already...hey, use up as much space as possible in this dept if it will help with the slip stream and bring a more fluid air over the tail. Not bad for Renault.

Really... so far two out of three cars shown looks like "cookie cutter" cars. Does anyone else agree?

It's a shame they didn't change the rules to fix the noses and now the ridiculously big engine cover fins are back which totally ruin the aesthetic. Cars would've looked pretty good without those I think.

Looks the best of what we've seen so far. Team is targeting P5 in the constructor's this year. Sounds ambitious but if that's a realistic goal they've set, then it only bodes really well for the soda company to be able to take it to mercedes.

I did feel the drivers' suits look beyond stupid...lol

We all like good looking F1 cars, but that is not always the best or the fastest! The front wings look too busy!

anyone else feel like the new-reg rear wings are so disproportionate to the rest of the car? i almost wished it was more substantial to balance out the car.

Also to confirm... I had asked about engine noise for 2017 and just read that there was no mandate in the regs to improve engine noise this year. Still stuck with the same sh**ty sound.

+1 ....just a thought but does'nt the paint scheme/pattern of this RS17 has some resemblence of the Mild Seven Renaults of years past

Are we actually sure that the Renault paint scheme is really because they simply couldn't afford to paint the entire car yellow? :p

As for the large "shark-fin"/ tail planes, I bet they're great for straight line stability, but a decent amount of crosswind is going to play havoc with them I suspect!

If you look at the side profiles of the cars and remove those fins - Damn these cars would look sexy with their sloping engine covers!
