It will be interesting to see how long it will take as its in WA and most buyers are in the eastern states
A friend was recently in Japan. I suggested he check the dealership out: Miura shoji co.,ltd He managed to pop in. He said the staff there were lovely and only too happy to show him around. I've got quite a few photos of the cars if you're interested in anything in particular
$20K price drop,slowly working the market out,these dealers.. https://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Ferrari-400-1985/OAG-AD-13963192/?Cr=3
Ferrari never allocated a "D" Vin to the 400 or 412 series cars that were delivered in Australia, they are all "C" Vin's The chassis number indicates it's one of the last 400i's made and was for sale about 12 months ago by Brooklands classic cars. First known owner was Prestige Cars Sales (Adelaide ?), so probably Australian delivery. The ad claims full engine rebuild in 2013, that would not have been cheap....
The data provided by Geoff P specifically said "Prestige Car Sales", perhaps he meant Prestige Formula. Was an SA car in 1990, so likley Aussie car, sold in S.A. M
Probably the same place. In 1990 the Ferrari dealer was on North East Rd, and I'm pretty sure they were called Prestige Formula. Myself and a mate used to wag school to go there and drool over the cars. The first time we went there they had 328s, but I remember when the 348 came out it was there as well. Funnily enough they were also the Lotus dealer and I preferred the Esprit to the Ferraris...
