Hand painted shields….The Pearl is unbelievable in this paint!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow that is wonderful. Can you provide more info on the color. Is it a custom 1 off color, 3 layer or 4 layer? Are the wheels blue too or was the picture messing with me?
Scott, you stayed quiet... and know you're pulling one of the most incredibly specced tdf : congrats !!! Is the name of the paint secret ? Can we see more of that unicorn MANUAL superamerica ?.. I see a blue Speciale and a blue FF... what a stable !!!!
Thanks!!!! The paint color is called Bianco Tartan, its a 3 layer. There is an FF hiding, but that is a California on the lift in the back corner. Yes that is a manual transmission SuperAmerica, Not many of those around. 33 is what I have been told and only like 6 or so left hand drives in the USA.
Scott- Stunning !! Congrats ! I'm a massive fan of painted shields and your pearl effect colour is ohhh sooo beautiful ! Superb job.
I like how all those cars show yellow calipers. Which blue is the Speciale painted with? A very tasteful collection! Thank you for sharing them here.
Beautiful Spec Congrats and enjoy in good health How would you characterize Tartan compared to Fuji and Italia?
Tartan is Pure White with a ton of very very vivid pearl essence in it. Italia has a cream color to it. And Fuji does not have much pearl essence . Tartan is just absolutely stunning!!!
Invaluable info, thanks. And congratulations on your ride! May I suggest you mistakenly swapped Italia and Fuji characteristics? I've always seen Fuji tend to cream and Italia to pure white.
FerrariART458 and Treynor are competing for the Most personnalized Tdf On Scott's car the only thing that seems to be not-extracompionario are the calipers and the cuoio leather. Everything else is non standart...Paint, wheels, carbon... Unbelievable. Did you go to the factory ? Speccing such a car doesn't take 5 minutes I think
Many hi-res pictures of FerrariART458's car can be seen here http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/145240375-post5161.html here http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/145240375-post5161.html And here http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/145243886-post5184.html
I'm not sure but the cuoio shows a very special grain that doesn't look standard. What a beautiful TdF! Big congrats Scott!
