Holy Moly this last page is full of interesting cars.. Besides the rounded flares, I am digging that dark parking light without the glass and dark A pillar. I never knew that Rods ex car was an LP400, thought it was an old LP400s.

I got a question, anyone here has a clear picture of the Rack and Pinion and the arms that attach to the hub?

Also any clear images of the Torsion bar especially how it goes through the front compartment to the top of the hub.
#15, and that rod next to #37 in the attached image. I suspect the bar circled in red is the torsion bar as it is not there in pictures when the front suspension is off. I'd like to see clear pics of these if possible outside the car.

I am sure you got plenty of those pics Joe? :)

    Cheers

Oh yes. As a James Bond fan, I certainly remember your previous post about this gorgeous 'Nero - Bianco' LP400 #1120300 in Hawaii! ;)
I wonder if it still has its Belgian (B) sticker at the rear after all this time...

I have been contacted by someone telling me this is definitely a Countach 5000s from the photo, and they can see that it is not a QV nor 4000 engine.

Assuming the car wasn't rebuilt in the 1980s when this happened, does anyone know of a RHD 5000s that was in the U.K. in the 1980s and disappeared never to be seen again, or that was burnt to a crisp? The Terry Keys car did not look this badly damaged, so I don't reckon it was that car.

Suspect I'm flogging a dead horse, but I may as well ask!

Around 2005-2006 this car was for sale in Germany for 65,000 Euro. The Lamborghini Registry had this car listed and clearly stated "Stolen in the USA". When I inforned the seller of this he practically hung up and the listing was revoked the next day. I heard this car stayed in Germany. Must be uncomfortable to own a car that could be returned to rightful owners one day .....

No it wasn't. As posted above, I called them and it was taken at a garage owned by one of their clients, who also owned a V8 Aston that they had repainted and was burnt out in the fire.

What???? Really???? Looks like the car that participated at the 50 Anni Giro in Italy 2013 with startnumber #030, correct? It was absolutely the best looking Countach of the Event ;-)
    Congratulations!!!

Yes it is! At the time it wasn't mine though. I was lucky to be able to buy it after the event.
    Thanks a lot!

Was the car offered with the optional rear wing & matching blue shoes for the lady? ;-)
