This is fantastic! Such an amazing experience. Thank you for sharing it Tim.
That would seem like a good idea, but regretfully not. It seems to be something of a sleeper. A couple more shots. The staircase 'wall of fame' to the bedroom suite, and a further shot of the entrance hall, posted below, and its drivers wall. You begin to get the idea of the history surrounding you, here at the very heart of what is now an industrial Titan. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Drivers wall. I'm only just through the front door and already beside myself with excitement and the history around me. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you for sharing this Tim, what an amazing experience! I'm sure it was worth the effort involved to set it up. Looking forward too seeing pictures of your TDF? You must be a very happy man right now ..
Indeed, simply the best imaginable. Apologies for keeping pics the car back, such as I have after my camera issues, but I felt it was part of a story rather than the whole story and thus should be set in context of this amazing delivery process.
Ahahahah Mick... I imagine him with the annual production of Colombia in each nostril, riding 200mph + on the highway with a groupie making him a little gift. And "Gimme Shelter" in the stereo. Rock n' roll baby.
Despite appearances - Mick isn't quite what you think - a smart guy and very much in control of what he does.
Yeah I know... I was more referring to the crazy years of rock n' roll in general. But he himself admitted having such behavior at the begining of the stones. Anyway that's not the subject of the Thread, I don't want to highjack it. Tim did you eat at Il Cavallino Restaurant ?
Inevitably yes! The bedroom. They must have kept Enzo's original bed-not one spring involved in its construction and felt like solid horsehair. Aside from sheer excitement preventing my sleeping, the bed assisted ably. Simply the worst night I can remember whilst also being the best. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The sitting room is filled with models, memorabilia and a giant tome on Enzo, truly massive and must be well over a thousand pages. Next stop, THE office. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You are all very welcome and it actually gives me great pleasure to be able to share this experience with all those who appreciate the magic that is Ferrari, so no thanks needed. From the shelf of his office...... Image Unavailable, Please Login
