    One would think that makes sense, but I got the death stare when I suggested that she trade her Aston for the California T. I've been smart, I haven't brought it up again.

    Amazing upgrade job! I know about the tedious process as I'm also working on mine at the moment.

    BTW, do you have a more complete picture of your rear CF diffuser? Is it the Ferrari item or the RevoZport one? And did your car come with the CF engine bay covers or did you upgrade that? I imagine it must have been expensive!

    Thanks man. I appreciate the compliment. The diffuser is neither Ferrari or RevoZport actually, I had it done by Dinmann who is in the Los Angeles area. www.dinmann.com is his site. He actually did all the Carbon parts on my car. The engine bay covers are the original plastic ones, skinned in Carbon Fiber and then resin coated and polished for looks and durability both.

    I don't have a great picture of the diffuser itself and it's raining right now, but in the next few days I will take one and post it up for you. Needs to be a good sunny day with lots of light to shoot upward and not have it just be all dark.

    Thanks Tom :) Yes, I went CF on the front badge as well. I got these from a guy on ebay who it appears is still selling them. Here is a link to his store: i-velocita on eBay

    I just took a picture of each in the garage, so lighting isn't great and they need to be cleaned (more evident on hood badge) but hopefully good enough...

    It would be really nice to see how Dinmann did your diffuser. They did an excellent job on your car. I especially like how the engine bay covers turned out. I'll have to give them a call. ;)

    BTW, did you also consider a dark anodized Cavallino Rampante for your front grill?

    I apologize for completely forgetting to follow up with the diffuser pictures. Here they are. As far as the dark anodized Cavallino for the front grill, I didn't do it because I thought it would just blend in and disappear with the dark grill and carbon fiber surround. I did do the one on the trunk though as pictured below. It would have been easy enough to do when I had the grill out. As far as how the diffuser was actually done though, I had a body shop remove the rear bumper from the car and then disassembled the lower bar and 2 Fins and those were done separately. Then black plastic looking part of the bumper that does not detach, so I just gave him the whole bumper and he did the carbon fiber skinning along the line. FAR cheaper than paying for the Novitec one, even if theirs is a tad nicer.

    No problem and thanks for posting photos of your CF skinned diffuser. The CF effect is quite convincing to all but expert eyes.

    As for the cavallino on the grill, I did a quick edit of your photo. Not sure how realistic my colouring job is, but I think it looks nice with dark anodizing. Of course, seeing it with the whole car in the flesh might present quite a different effect.

    Real carbon fiber is used, which is why it is convincing. It's not entirely made of carbon fiber like some factory and aftermarket parts often are, but it's real sheets of carbon fiber adhered to the original part and then a resin coating and then polished out. Thanks for the edit on the Cavallino. Tempting and kinda wish I would have done it that way, but also like it sticking out too.

    BTW, here is a before photo as far as the carbon fiber in the back...
