Great collection. I have some of those. Will definitely try to track down more.

    Cheers Robb.

Many of the period magazines I bought at the time whilst keenly studying automotive design. On a return visit home to Aus I found they were all still at my parent's house in boxes. A 20 year time warp to a period in car design I am still fond of. Never did I think I would have the subject of all those articles sitting in a garage here in Sweden. And it is still just as sweetly proportioned and beautiful to me now as I first thought it was in '94. That it is also the most exciting car I've ever driven is icing on the (very pretty and quite noisy) cake.

It is also nice to see the F355 is now predominantly owned and maintained by fellow car enthusiasts like ourselves.

Cool time warp back 20 years. Parents can be great on some of those things.

Love the avatar by the way.

Thought I'd pass on the knowledge. Also figured that using my iPhone to upload photos causes the image disorientation. Can only post with Mac Book. There is also an article about snapping up naturally aspirated cars with stick now before they appreciate. This includes Caymans, BMWs pre turbo. Not sure I agree about the price speculation but agree that non-turbo and stick make for a better driving experience. At least for me.

They were born in the 70s though. Always loved the 308 and a.288 was a 308 on steroids for me.

That maybe but there are still draughtsmen, designers and engineers using the computer as a tool. That's all, the computer designs absolutely nothing, zero, zilch, just a pencil albeit a little more sophisticated but still a pencil.
It was my trade and I was also an applications engineer working for a UK company who build nuclear submarines to name but one. I can tell you the computer does not dictate how the car looks. That is regulations and the those folks that always designed and built motor cars :).

Been a while since I've seen a 'Motor' magazine.

By the way, did you know Shane Warne once owned one? A navy Spider from memory...but please don't hold that against the car!

You are right. His car actually came up for sale a few years ago.

I'd be wanting to clean that leather very thoroughly indeed...

True, but their design actually goes back to the mid-1970s.
