A few years ago I was lucky enough to have dinner with Signiore Balboni and was also driven by him around a race track, in his namesake RWD Gallardo VB. What an amazing person that he is! Fluent in both English and German (apart from Italian of course), eloquent and softly spoken, complimentary for all rival manufacturers (he was very enthusiastic about both Ferrari and Porsche cars - he drives an Audi A4 estate as a daily by the way) and a really humble (i.e. down to Earth) man at heart! A real italian gentleman!!!

@Traveller: Dear Tim, this is probably the best collection ceremony and experience I can fathom. Sharing your amazing journey is what makes you a great contributor to this community. I thank you!

I had to wait as well!

A moment I had always hoped for, finally to sign for a Tailor Made LE car at Enzo's desk and the culmination of many many years of dreams and ambition. And naturally signed in purple ink-Sad.

......but how do we know? Was there even a car involved at all?! Perhaps it was a Rosso Corsa Cali T. Who's to say? ;)

Are we able to see the photos of Tim's F12 TDF before the end of page seven?

Guys, the thread is about the handover process at the Casa Ferrari not the car.
Very special experience not many get to encounter in their lives.

Just sit back and enjoy please :)

Did you sleep in Enzo's bed with his original unwashed sheets and covers?

Thank you, and that is the exact point in the hope that it might encourage others to experience it or failing that, at least fascinating to know about it as even with my long history of the brand, only recently did I discover it.
