Truly stunning Tim. Words simply can't do it justice.

I'm assuming you won't require Topaz's services this time around!?

    All the best,

    Mac.

Tim - congratulations, stunning and a fitting reward for all your contributions on here, enjoy. I particularly like the seats and it's carbon in matte for me now, can I ask does it delay production a lot for matte ?

Thank you so much for taking us with you on what must have been such an amazing experience! So interesting to have a look behind the scenes of an event like this. The car is simply gorgeous! I love the interior and the little body colored touches throughout, very tasteful.
    Enjoy it!

I love the juxtaposition of the aggressive exterior shapes with the beautiful but subtle blue/grey color. And then the contrast to the interior. So well balanced and thought out.

    BELLISSIMO!

Oh well, when it comes to delivering amazing threads, Tim is the guy !
2nd best thread after the mighty F40 rebuild one !

Your TDF is gorgeous. The color is eye-catching and the interior sublime. A build future Ferrari owners should bookmark for their next spec !

What is the color name ? Blue Traveller ?

Beautiful Tim. You certainly have achieved the goals you set for yourself and Tailormade. Well done. A stunning TdF … I'm such a fan of the interior. The detail(s) is (are) what make(s) the difference.

Also great to see the pics of Enzo's house. Brings back good memories. Indeed … not much has changed but then again … that's not a bad thing. Signing the docs on your LE Ferrari at Enzo's desk is the cherry on the cake.

Thanks for letting us enjoying this with you.

    Cheers,

    M

Interestingly still yes, but assuming Zanassi did the paintwork, it is to an entirely different standard from the factory.

All my previous cars required a Level 5 treatment involving full flattening of the clear coat whereas this required a Level 3, which was only really necessary because I wanted perfection before the full wrap was applied. Whilst a 2 stage difference doesn't sound much, it is huge in money terms and goes some way to justifying the extra cost for the paint.

Thank you so much. I will look at the tag when I get the car home, hopefully this weekend, this time after yet another collection from my dealer. Do not be concerned, I will not start a thread on that.

As it was based on an existing historic colour, I suspect it is already named and I think only if you mix a colour from scratch, like Blu Ahrabian, do you get to name it. That is a very expensive option.

It will be great when I can actually get some truly accurate shots of it as you can see the difficulty, maybe it should have been called Blu Mirage.

I wonder if it would work on the 812.......

Thanks. Diamond cut, my hatred of the black holes is I am afraid, almost legendary and certainly would not have fitted my brief.

That's great to hear and my concern with the greys is that they tend to become a bit flat. I don't know if that is because I have had so many of them, but looking at a TDF the other day in my favourite grey, whilst I really liked it, it just looked a little 'dead'.

The idea here was to provide a little more 'pop' to the car without becoming bright or distracting from the purity of the shape.

Thank you for those flattering words.

You are so right, right now this feels like a permanent fixture. Even in 60 miles, you can tell this is something very special, something to always challenge you and keep you on your toes.

I think the journalists have missed something here, focusing on the knife edge character at 10/10ths and criticising that whilst overlooking the sheer magic that happens the rest of the time. This is a classic, not just because it is a limited car and looks beautiful, but because it is an incredible drive. Given this was really the last of the LDM cars, I wonder if we will see it's like again.

    And then there's that howl.......
