brings back wonderful memories; I had TT 75 plaques on my 403 when I did graduate law studies in Paris in 1960-61.

Hi Cyril, this should be 0123S. I have one of these photos. The car does not have an Aerlux roof. Photos are taken at Paul Flandrack's Garage in 1954.
    Regards
    Boudewijn

    Dear David,

But as is so common for those days, the photo is not of a 1955 500 Mondial. Please note the drivers windscreen is not faired to the cowl but resting on the cowl. That is a photo of a 1954 500 Mondial Series I, or a 1954 750 Monza.

    Best regards,

    Robert

The french cars in the background, the radio antenna on left fender and high blinkers make me wonder if this car couldn't be 3095GT ??

Of course, the third pic doesn't show the same car : it's a 250 GT Cabriolet PF S2 from Switzerland.

As always, very cool pics, Mr. Niles.
I especially love the first one showing the seemingly small single carb engine in the background. 166 perhaps ?

Mechanically upgraded, therefore offered as a "1955".

    Hi,

Like others have pointed out, at least two different cars, the 1st and 3rd photo look like the cars were brand spanking new. The 2nd photo shows a lady next to the car. :D But I guess the owner of the car who took the photo did not have a telephoto lens and zooms were not available on consumer cameras in those days. Not to even mention how long it sometimes took before you could "see" your photos, the prints. Nice pics. The plates might help local (Swiss) enthusiasts to find out more, unless they were just temporary tourist plates.

    Cheers,

    Pekka T.

Please forgive me for slight subject derailment, but I just noticed a rather unusual common denominators with three previous posts and this of course will add to it.

Ed, can I assume that these photos are from the late 1960s too?

Here is an old photo believed to have been taken in the late 1950's. Fortunately the registration plate can be seen clearly. If the car can be identified, and survives, then perhaps the current owner would love to see their car in its early life.
