I've got 2 Alpina's and I love them. I always get compliments when I wear them. The Diver Extreme has the custom order sharkproof bracelet, like the Ploprof. The other one is the limited Startimer Pilot. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have a 7 1/4 inch wrist. I really like the larger size and when I was in Geneva last fall, I was told that this larger case would not make it into the rest of the Nautilus line. Here is a comparison shot. The anniversary dates are not bold and the available light dictates how visible. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks great, thanks for the feedback. A Nautilus is on my grail list, but I am leaning towards a 5712. I like the asymmetry. I am at just around 7inches wrist size, so the older size should be fine.
There is a Zenith event at my wife's store next week and Jean Claude Biver will be there. Who LOVES Zenith?
Thanks! Yeah, they are great and I really think Alpina and Frederic Constant will catch on. I always recommend them here.
Have always loved zenith Would really love to meet him he's quite a character I enjoyed his YouTube videos I really loved the fact that my spirit of big bang had the Zenith moment. Here's a photo of my first Zenith now belongs to my son-in-law Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey Pap, look what I stumbled onto! Stopped by a Rolex AD in Kansas City to look at Subs and Explorers. I mention the Deepsea, and he pulls it out from the back of the shop. Another buyer just declined it. I have admired yours for quite some time. I was afraid it might be a little heavy and thick for me. Slipped it on and, boom, had to have it. Balanced extremely well on my wrist. It was fate or the Universe guiding me. At least that's what I'll be telling my wife on my return Sunday. She can't argue with fate OR the Universe. So tomorrow I'll be on time for the 5 o'clock tip of the Big 12 Championship game! Image Unavailable, Please Login
An El Premiro is definitely on my list. The hard question is which one. Biver is a cool guy. There is a video where he talks about how Tag Heuer has "confused" its customers that is hysterical.
Plant Ocean. Always liked the look of this watch. I bought this one years ago. Hate it when it needs to be wound. The crown doesn't project out enough for my fingertips when winding. Image Unavailable, Please Login
An old favorite Breitling Model 815 from 1973. I paid $170 for this at a country auction ages ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes hand wind. Old lume that I love the deterioration (patina) thingkind of like me and my 308GTS QV.
