There are few cars offered out there, and the several that are seem unusually high over sticker.

Opinions and especially actual transaction experience in the current markup for sub 1k mile used cars would really be appreciated as I have a private party opportunity but don't want to over pay for it either.

    Thanks in advance.

You can get cars under sticker, at sticker and over sticker.

What do you want to pay?

People can ask anything what matters is what some is willing to BUY it for ultimately.

    Good luck.

Most cars out there are early 488 allocations that are trading for spiders. Small bump (say 5-10%) over MSRP would be typical unless you are willing to wait 18months for an allocation. Not to say there isn't always some wiggle room but as spring and summer get closer the deals will slow down.

I tried to buy two this last week. Both sub 1000 miles. Both 285K MSRP and it took $317k and $329K to make the deal. The very few that are under are so loaded with options like paint, lifts, racing seats, I am not sure that one could get the money back. Many days for sale and for a reason.

Are you buying from dealer or private party? Private party might be trying to include sales tax possibly cause depending on where you live, sales tax may or may not be collected from private party....

Many new models pop out in Geneva, then this year 488 Speciale will be released, then next month US treasury is going to increase rate. Dealers are panic to hold the car too long. Don't just look at the listing price, go bargain 10% off, and must be below sticker. High chance they will roll a red carpet for you.

Not many...I've spoken to most this past week.

    But give it time...

Nothing like seeing "PRICE DROP" on the same car three times in a week LOL.

Spring is typically when we see price bumps, not drops. I'd say if you find something now, buy it, once spring weather starts taking hold (esp here in the Northeast), you'll have less negotiating power. Another point- pricing is also dependent on where you're located or buying the car from.

Depending on what color and options you are looking for I have a line in a few cars at good prices. Pm me if you want details.

The dealer on the black / black one in the classified is asking $309K with a $326K sticker. Mileage is a bit higher than you are looking at ~ 3,xxx but seems to be a good price if you want a black car now. Prices will continue to drop on coupes as more and more spiders deliver.

As a reference for depreciation in other markets, low mileage 488 coupe in Dubai can be bought for ~ $215K now and spider ~ $265K.

This is accurate in Southern California. My GTB is up sale and will be in the Westlake Ferrari Showroom next week. It will definitely sell for over MSRP.

I don't think in california you can get over MSRP on a used GTB.. Ive been offered two used GTBS for a little under msrp 5-7k

In other parts of country with less competition I believe it.

Speaking of westlake, that Black on red one they have been trying to get over MSRP since there grand opening party and its still for sale.

So maybe you will get over msrp but you will have to wait 6 7 months and by then might be too late.

Fully aware and you may be correct. According to Stefano, he's optimistic that we'll sell for MSRP or above. We'll see.

It all depends on the msrp. If its a low msrp, it may sell for over. If its a high msrp, it'll definitely sell lower than msrp. I'd say the market is around $295k for a 16 coupe and around $385k for a 17 spider. 17's are obviously selling for more than 16's....
