Shots on departure out of PHX today on the way to IAD. One is the Bondurant school, the Wild Horse Pass Motorsport Park and Firebird Lake. After what seems like months of constant crappy weather here in Northern Cal, finally got to do more solo flying yesterday. Still working on my PPL but slowly getting there. Leaving Lapland Finland 20 hours ago for the Maldives with a stop in Helsinki and Qatar. It was windy as hell landing in Qatar, felt the plane yawing side to side as we bounced through decent. Just before touching down there was a wicked left yaw which gave my sphincter some exercise. They compensated with a wickedly rough landing, hit the brakes hard then hit them even harder.
