What product is good to bring a shine back to the vinyl targa top, mine is dull with oxidation?

Here is an under appliance brush that worked perfect to clean out the dust from the front of the gauge naccelle.

And yes, I've finally picked up my 308 after 4 years in the shop right after US Army retirement and right before I move to Costa Rica. Oh well.

But the big picture is good:

Congrats on retirement! No idea on a good product to use, with a 17 month old, car time has been nonexistant.

'Armorall' brings the vinyl up perfectly - just make sure to take the roof off so you don't get the stuff near your paint.

I know I can find Amorall local, and maybe Lexol.

I used the Lexol recently and it was great for the targa top... They have it at Walmart!

Krylon in a semi gloss black. It's painted plastic or maybe the color is moulded in but it's plastic nonetheless. Leather and Vinyl treatments will look shiny for a while but don't last.

    Fire suit on...

    Paint would definitely work!

I used the "mothers back to black" product on the targa top and wing, and I am happy with the results. You definitely have to re apply every so often, but it looks nice and is not paint :)

Use 303 aerospace protectant to get targa top back to factory finish.

I usually use "Back to Black", if I use anything, and am happy with the results. A local trimmer suggested simple cleaning, using a mild dish soap (e.g., Dawn) and a soft scrub brush, and no treatment. That worked, as well as the top is in good condition. For something more unusual, a former F-Chat member and local professional detailer suggested using olive oil , supposedly a trick he learned from another detailer, and it certainly looked good on his 308QV. But it sounded laborious, requiring several applications and wiping off. I don't think he was "having me on", but maybe. And he never told me whether to use regular, virgin or extra virgin - although I assumed it had to be genuine Italian.

(will shine a bit for the first hour but than turns nicely matt original)

Before I apply the 303 product I always clay the top first with a bar and spray detailer. Really brings it back to matt before I add the UV protection that the 303 provides.

I'd be reluctant to use Armorall as it has an oil base and in very hot days with sun beating down it will heat up the surface and could distort or crack the surface. 303 is much better.

Too late, but it soaked up three coats.
Thanks Albert. I wish I had had this car while I was in Italy.

I got an extra top, was not so good - so I wrapped it in red, GTB look, anyway i could have sanded it down and got it sprayed but the wrap is easy replaceable and could be changed to something else like carbon fibre.
