Titanio on the config does not do it any justice. Interestingly they have named the new Rosso as per my spec sheet: Rosso 70 Anni - is this just another name for the Geneva show car Rosso dei Rossi? Image Unavailable, Please Login
^Thank you! To me, that's the winner. Another indulgence, if I may - is it possible to visualize the carbon fiber shields on the configuration? T
Unfortunately no, to my understanding you can see such details and options through the Atelier's configurator.
From Ferrari's Atelier Department, today, at the factory. The red 812 Superfast that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show was reportedly liveried in Rosso dei Rossi, Ferrari's newest version of red paint to commemorate their 70th Anniversary. But this car, liveried in a darker, non-metallic red, might actually be liveried in that color - but I'm not sure. I noticed that too from the first pictures. A little weird, almost makes me prefer the no-shield look.
Why, did you catch any different detail? Or are you assuming so because the Geneva car is reportedly touring the Swiss dealers? In any case I suspect we're seeing the same colour again: Rosso dei rossi/Rosso 70 anni. Still not 100% clear what name will go down as official (as if there were official paint names in Ferrari ).
Hmm. Interesting. A little low and even further forwarding the 812 SF? https://suwalls.com/cars/side-view-of-a-black-ferrari-f12-berlinetta-52047/ Definitely, a good candidate for the no-shields (or CF shields) look. IMO, of court. T
Same color. It is very sensitive to light conditions. Looks like mugello under indirect light and like a shiny deep rosso (launch pictures) under direct light conditions.
Read an interesting comparison in a dutch news paper. It quoted that Porsche makes a profit of 16.386 euro per car sold, BMW and Mercedes-Benz only get to 4.600 euro per car but Ferrari is almost out of reach with almost 83.500 euro per car sold, although 30% of that amount comes from engines, theme parks, clothing and other merchandise. Seen all the upgrade options (of a few things which I would classify as below par) it seems not to be enough! Nevertheless Ferrari still is the brand with most prestige.
How many of you lads/ladies are going with sport seats. I have them in the F12 and they are very comfortable on long (500km +) drives? If so would u go medium or large?
I asked the 812 product manager about this as it also appeared to me at the time to be slightly larger. He said he has received that comment before, but it's an optical illusion due to it being placed a little lower, and as a result, there is less curvature in the shield due to the flatter part of the new fender at that location.
