I love the look of it but after 90 mins or so I found my F12 sports seat uncomfortable. Is the 812 the same seat ? Just writing it then 812 is an ugly number, I wish the car had a name.
Dear all, I am quite new to this board, so I am not sure if this is the right thread.... I am looking at placing a deposit on the 812. This will be my first F after a long history of mainly Porsches and a couple of other brands.... Since I saw the interior of a 250gto once, in my childhood, at a classic carmeeting I can't get the wrinklepaint dashboard out of my head... I asked my dealer if this was possible on parts of the dashboard (the grey structures that hold the vents, the little tower with the reverse/launch/auto buttons and the structures for the media controls) to get them coated with black wrinkle paint from the factory (for a reasonable price). He'll get back to me after checking with the factory. Has anyone out there ever seen or even done this on a modern Ferrari? Was it factory or aftermarket? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
It's a lot of car for the money. It's a lot of money too! Reviewers and everyone are talking about the car. Obviously I'm not a Macca fan but feel they are a brand to follow.
I have the sport seats in my F12 and find them fine hence why I will go with them on the 812. Just was no sure whether medium or large Dude... chill McLaren uses numbers all the time and no-one seems to complain. BTW: Can u imagine saying MP124C all the time !! Car does have a name "Superfast"
I had them in my 360 Spyder. No issue for me and every time I was letting a chick out of the car, it certainly helped the view.....FYI we're talking '03-'06, I would never (only) dream of such now....lol
Long before she existed and she despises F-cars, F-chat, and everything that goes with it! I'm such a lucky man!! [emoji4]
I feel your pain. I have a mutual understanding with mine i.e. I do flower shows (requires extreme patience) and she does a motor show (Geneva) as long as she gets to chill somewhere with a coffee

Very surprised to see them replacing the third (middle) vent with hexagonal shapes.... Hmmm, which other Italian car manufacturer likes hexagons?......
Thanks Marcel, good to see some close up shots. Looks like they have lifted the central vent section from the Lusso and replaced the motorised central vent with the mesh. Looks a bit naff in the pics but can't say it bothered me too much when I saw the car in Geneva.
A point I raised earlier about the design direction. Also look at the shape of the recesses, very faceted.
I'm actually waiting to see a production car - I still don't believe the horse on front grill is plastic on final version I'm still trying to figure out what the hell is going on in the rear ; i.e. What is purposely done as a need and what was just done for sake of doing so..... The cars we now buy are presented to us in a "bare" state and we literally have to build them up - it allows F to to not only Fuk us but also allows the "base" price not to look too much higher than previous model a la FF to GTC4L where they started this "fad" where we must actually specify leather on the back of the front driver and passenger seats.... I would sincerely like to know/meet someone that just chooses external and interior colours and needs nothing more on these cars.....I think it's almost impossible and that Los the way F want it
This is exactly what Porsche do BTW. The base car is useless without key options. I will spec my 812 with ZERO carbon but still need/want - race seats, rosso 70th anni, red stitching, cavalino on headrest, GPS, Apple CarPlay, passenger screen, front lift and afs and new wheels. Other than race seats, new wheels and passenger screen the rest of the items are all but mandatory
