All, I am contemplating on replacing my Range Rover with a Levante S. I'm very skeptical, because of Maserati's depreciation history. Does anyone have an idea if the Levante's will follow the same, harsh, depreciation curve?
Maserati (All Models) Worldwide sales to date:- 2010 - 5675 2011 - 6159 2012 - 6288 2013 - 15 393 2014 - 36 448 2015 - 32 474 2016 - 42 100 (Levante 11 055) Long term Maserati are aiming for 70 000 units in 2018, with the Alfieri Coupe, Alfieri Cabrio and new Granturismo boosting future sales to 75 000 units. The main markets for the Maserati brand in 2016, were North America (34%), China (29%), Europe (17%), Japan (3%).
We have a cool range rover sport, and while I like this car, and she kept it in addition to the Maser, it is different. The Maser is so much newer in technology and look, at least to this generation of LRS. But do love the old fashion blower and deeper note! And I think all luxury vehicles take tremendous hits. Thus contributing immensely to what is a ten-fold increase over five years in Maserati sales in Europe: from 107 in January 2012 to 1001 in January 2017.
Last weekend I saw a Levante and Bentley Bentayga (is that supposed to be short for Bengal tiger?) both within a couple car lengths of each other and both were white! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes I agree but they're both SUVs and that limits the possibilities for a beautiful shape considerably. I bet the Bentley is waaaaaaaay better inside, at least in terms of materials. It should be at that price! It also has the huge go fast engine with 4WD. I don't think we'll ever seen a big engine & 4WD in the Maserati.
Starting to see levantes on road now. Look much better in wild than in show room. Like a nice suv and not a Chinese buick mash up
A Levante with gloss black window surrounds currently on sale in the Netherlands. Looks so different compared to the chrome ones. https://www.munsterhuissportscars.nl/maserati/levante/maserati_levante_3_0_diesel_sport_black_pack_vol_opties_maserati_munsterhuis-1703193.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
+1 actually saw three in Geneva last weekend and they look smart, specially near its rivals but even among cars.
That's good to see. For these higher end, sporty SUVs, I think too much chrome, especially around the windows, makes it look tacky and less sporty...T
Apology if this comes off as trolling, I just think its hideous, as is the Bentayga The only SUV I think is well designed is the Cayenne/Macan
