Not mine, but well worth putting up. Would love to have seen them. Apparently they don't get out much!
I think we've seen this before, but anyway........... https://www.facebook.com/GentlemenDriversASD/videos/1262762830482473/
He should have done some research before talking so much **** .... it did sound all right though ..... mine sounds way better, might so a youtube video soon
What exactly did you feel was "so much ****"? I've seen worse. But, he must be 7ft tall. Looked like a giant in that thing. A Kiwi version of Bigfoot. I'd love you to present a YouTube video. Could use a good laugh.
10-15k for a major service?? I hope he made a mistake, because it sure as hell doesn't cost that much here in Aus.
That was one of the things that was rubbish, my last engine out service was less than half that and they are 4-5 years apart
Really? Ever had one done at a Ferrari dealer? Wouldn't have to find much wrong to reach 10K. That of course is why independent mechanics exist
well, one of us is, but in this case, it's not me. less than 20 hours labour plus a few hundred dollars in parts.
One day to get the engine out and put it back in then one more day to replace the belts, hoses, water pump and a couple of insignificant things that you would replace even if they're not broken as it hopefully prevents getting the engine out for them. Next time it will be more as I'm getting the exhaust iconel coated , alloy cleaned like Gleggy did and the sparkplug covers refreshed but it still will be nowhere near $15k
Finally got the car back today. They did a good job - after six months of frustration it is back changing gears reliably and super fast again. However, the clutch is on the way out. Just curious as to whether this is one of those parts where factory is best or should I look at aftermarket? I notice Superformance list both on their website.
