I don't know the VIN but here is a video of Shmee driving the P400S at Perego Cars. Said to be from September, 1969. See here: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0peGsx_u1VE[/ame]
Yes, from left to right 3 RHD SVs = sky-blue "UBD4" = #4814, black "LAM130" = #4828 & red = #4812. The red SV - without any side mirrors and gold spinners on gold wheels - being ex. PP #4812, preferably to #4972. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Out of interest does anyone know where 4828 is now? I have a vague memory of someone telling me that it went to Argentina before 2000.
Hi Piet,4828 came back to the UK and is owned by Tim Stamper who invented a famous computer game. What happened to Barry I have heard various stories over the years, for you that don't know he was a well known car dealer in the 70s and 80s and traded many Lamborghini with his various business [ Super Cars Dulwich,Heathmans etc.] his showrooms were always filled with interesting cars and for many of us in the UK it was a chance to see many Lamborghini for the first time
one day ill see one of these in person. if they stop picking the wrong powerball numbers ill even sit in one whenever i want.
Gosh. That brings back memories such as Barry & his bimbettes at the club dinner at the Roof Gardens.
Video of damages done by Johnny Hallyday when he crashed 3006. Rockstar style...Probably filmed the morning after, 27 october 1967: ACCIDENT DE JOHNNY HALLIDAY - Vidéo Ina.fr Credit INA Also read he may have owned 1051, is this true?
You can see in the first shot the names of witnesses of the accident, and also the real name of Johnny Hallyday... was Jean-Philippe Smet (a typical basic belgian name, like John Smith), lived Place Winston Churchill in Neuilly-sur-seine.... He was actually belgian even if the french like saying he was french. But let's be grand and give it to them..it must be hard enough being french
In the 1st sequence, there is no sound... As far as I remember, Johnny crashed his Miura on the road in the night back from a concert near Arras when he left the road and hitted sticks in a curve and a tree. His co driver was his manager who testified of the accident conditions... may be Bruno B. can clarify this version...
Well, we know that he still had the white P400 in June of that year, because, on the 2nd of June 1967, he took Sylvie Vartan on a date to the Olympia in Paris in it! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not sure exactly how much he paid the doorman, but its there in his hand. Vartan, like a lady, waits for her door to be opened... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not wanting to get in the middle of an International incident, but his original driving license stated/claimed that he was French. Image Unavailable, Please Login
His subsequent 1967 racing license does confirm that he lived at the address you mention. Image Unavailable, Please Login
As posted earlier within this thread, Johnny Hallyday's Miura later had hood-mounted Cibie driving lamps. Clearly he planned on driving fast at night! Image Unavailable, Please Login
The accident image shows evidence of the driving lamps mounting positions before they were torn off in the wreck. This accident looks like the car hit a stationary object, a tree or pole, rather than glancing off a number of parked cars as the film suggests. Its worth noting that Johnny Hallyday had many accidents in different cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not posted here yet is Rod Stewart and his RHD Miura SV 4818, UK-registered LUC 38K, circa mid-70s. Image Unavailable, Please Login
