For those that have the F12tdf, is your tdf loud enough left stock? I like loud and would like to preplan a little for my delivery if enough feel an aftermarket exhaust might be more fun!

sport cats are the way to go to get meaningful volume increase w/o throwing a CEL emissions light. A remote exhaust valve controller is another nice option for better low rev sound.

The TDF really needs no exhaust mods it is plenty loud and has all crackle and pops you'd want. No doubt Ferrari thought about the sound and I think its one of the best sounding Ferrari ever. Don't waste your time or money, this car has the sound that all the aftermarket manufacturers are trying to achieve.

I completely agree. On our Speciale, I was tempted to try and amp up the exhaust sound, but the TDF out of the box is just right. Compared to the Speciale - which had a lot of road noise too - the TDF really fills the cabin with engine music.

I can imagine a full Novitec or Capristo would certainly make it louder; I'm unsure if it would be better. However, get yours, live with it for a few months and decide for youself; I'm unsure I've seen or heard of any exhaust "upgrade" for this car yet.

And, for us, this is a STREET car, so great sound is key but deafening sound less so. I once gave some "parade laps" with no helmet/ear plugs in my race car.....once. There is such a thing as "too loud".

Honestly, I wouldn't change anything on my TDF and apart from opening the valves full time (which I personally wouldn't do) there is very little room for improvement. ..

Modifying such a masterpiece just seems wrong. It is such a perfect car out of the box, I wouldn't dream of corrupting mine. It growls, it pops, it rumbles. Try it before planning to change. Even opening the valves on this seems wrong.

The engine noise is lovely in the F12 TDF. A great system of the F140 FG engine with sound amplified ducts into the cabin. Very appropriately fits the nature of the car. However, several videos have drivers remarking under a certain lower spin rate there is no significant difference with the F12. The story changes when valves open. They have done a nice job modding the exhaust and decreasing engine drag. I want to drive one to sample its offerings.
