I have a 308 85' QV (US) and even though I have all the tools that came with the car I'm missing the emergency window crank. Did it come with the car in 85'?

My all original and complete late 84 QV is also missing the window crank. From following discussions here, it seems that the window crank was usually not included in the tool set for the QVs.

I'd like to pick one up, but originals are rare. Are there any reproductions offered by any vendor?

Is that the earlier crank type or later T type as referenced by Alberto?

My US-spec October 1983 QV appears to have come with both.

    (No, neither is for sale.)

So the T type seams to be the correct one.

The window crank was not placed in the tool kit but rather the "glovebox".

I have an '83 QV with the crank type. Two are included in my tool roll. Not sure if that is standard or I have an extra.

The "crank" style was p/n 50031100 and the "T" handle style was 50031103.
The "crank" style was discontinued and superseded to the "T" style.
These two handles were applicable to 246, 308, BB, and Mondials.

Did they come with the "Euro" cars? Our '85 was a German delivery and that is the only thing missing. I thought there was some discussion as to if they were included with the non-US cars.

Are you saying the car was delivered with the crank in the document pouch behind the passenger seat and not in the tool kit?

    Thanks,

    Franny

I have a extra one. I didn't have one in my tool kit. So I bought one off ebay when I first got my car. When I removed my seats I found one underneath. Looks almost like new. I would need $275.00 plus my cost on shipping. This is a picture of the one in my car I need to find where the other one is.
