I have to say that the 458 Speciale to my eyes is by far the best looking iteration of the model 458/488. It takes the 458 italia and adds enough to make it that bit more aggressive & interesting to look at , but still keeping the elegance, which to me is lost in the 488 with the side scoops etc,and the ridiculously high wheel arches gap....

So yes the speciale is indeed the special one in my eyes , best looking Ferrari by a country mile, loving all the pictures...is there a colour it doesn't look good in?...don't think so , haven't seen a bad one yet..enjoy them all chaps

She felt ROCK SOLID. I had the 650S at a similar speed and the front was "jumping" all over the place. Speciale just feels planted and pulled amazing well up to about 280kmh.

Did a 500km stretch in just over 2-1/4 hrs (so average around 220kmh) and I might as well have been cruising - seriously good car and very very special

I had a Speciale at 310 kmh on the German autobahn two summers ago. Rock solid. Even when I had to brake hard, from that speed, when someone didn't see me coming up on them and came into the left lane --> ROCK SOLID. The car always makes me feel like a better driver than I really am, because it's just so good.

Yes - understood. I've had my aperta at pretty good speeds and agree with you rock solid and also great in the corners once the tires are warm.
