Saw this car when it popped up for sale on eBay a few weeks back. I personally think it looks good but would rather buy an all stock car just for resale.

Personally I hate the aftermarket rear spoiler, but it's a matter of taste.

Don't like the wheels and all of the mods are aggressive looking and don't look right on that conservative color. Might look better in rosso corsa, nero or white

Don't like the mods either. Resale would be tough.

Love the Red / Black exterior color combo. Not so hot about the mods; although, you could probably convert back without too much difficulty.

    I'm fine with the wheels.

Regardless, if you can get a decent deal, I would not let the mods stop you from pursuing.

There's a high (by F-car standards) mileage 599 GTB at Cauley for similar price. 27K miles. It's Ferrari certified, and a 2009. It's also red. Looks to be two owner vehicle with complete service done @ Cauley. If I were in the market for a V12, I'd snap that one up in a heart beat.

For someone who intends on holding and driving the heck out of a great V-12, I think it looks tempting. You would have to guess that any kinks are sorted out by 27K miles! ;) You might also surmise that they are confident in the condition of the car if they warranty it. No proof though! :)

Taste is subjective I know but I actually like how it looks (minus the rear spoiler) , but would want all the original parts to put back to stock for re sale.

If you like it, it's in good condition and the price is right (and can get all original parts), why not

Though I'm usually not a fan of Crema, I LOVE that interior!

Yeah, I love the 599 but the gunmetal gray color of the roof and spoiler is lame. Wheels are OK but that spoiler is clunky and crowds the Ferrari script.

For everyone hating on the spoiler of the car in the first post, it's actually a 599XX inspired piece.

Now all of a sudden it's going to be beautiful...

I appreciate hearing all of these opinions. For example, it never occurred to me that the spoiler is a 599XX inspired piece. All of the replies have been very helpful.

    Thanks again,

Now that you mention it, it IS beautiful :D ....jk

Yep I did realise it was a 599 inspired piece, but still don't think it looks right. Just my opinion tho and I understand everyone is different :)

Spoiler has to go no matter what inspired it. Unlesss it's velcroed on, removing it is expensive as there are bolt holes to deal with. Now you have a 599 with a bunch of holes in it, or bondo filling them up and repaint.

Personally I'd pass unless it's a huge bargain, then I'd spend the $ to get it back to original condition. You don't try to change up a Picasso with crayons...

It looks awesome. The only thing I would do is change the rims out for something else. Screw the purists and drive it hard! :D
