Justin looks great and you'll see how much better the Grigio Ferro is alive because in the natural light changes Tomés according with the angle of the sun rays and the nuances of the various greys really improve the body lines and curves.
Absolutely perfect, except for those calipers 😁 but then we have discussed this before. You must be wishing the days away.
Thanks for all the kind comments. This week, my car should be making its way through northern Italy, through the Alps, France, under the Channel and into England. With all the technology available these days, Ferrari should offer a daily tracking update to see exactly where your car is. Would be a nice touch.
Except that they have saved you from yourself , can you imagine the lack of productivity due to constantly checking where it is??
Justin I can't help you on this question but I'm dropping a line just to try to help in your anxiety which I'm sure must be enormous. Today we have a very sunny day here in Lisbon were I live and I took my wife for a short ride and than we had lunch. It's the first time I could see the Grigio Ferro paint under the sunshine light and I was impressed because it looks really good and you can tell that the tones of grey change according with the surfaces. Another thing that amazes me already when I compare this Grigio with the Nero non metallic of my previous Ferrari, is the fact that you don't see the dust on the surface of the paint and it seems to be always clean. There were a couple of spots were I could see some light signs of mud and took me two minutes to put everything pristine with my favorite quick wiper liquid and a good microfiber cloth. The car drive is magnificent, it's so good that's difficult to describe, and the direct steering is something I really like very much and I'm getting addicted to. Before you realize yours will be in front of you.
Thanks Mario. Glad to hear you are enjoying your F12b. I suspect you are blessed with more sunny days than we are in England. The weather has been very good here for the last week or two, mainly sunny and mild temperatures, perfect F12 weather. The trouble is it may not last Seems we are living parallel car lives. My last car was an Nero Daytona FF, so i know exactly what you mean about the dust. Stunning when cleaned, but only takes a small amount of dust, pollen, or dried rain shower before the look is lost. Just one of the reasons why i went Ferro this time, although i think the F12 lines are best seen in mid to lighter colours. It should be only a week or two before the car arrives and hopefully i'll be doing the same as you with my wife. Somehow it seems each waiting day is getting longer! Keep us posted on your F12 experiences and I will join you with mine soon.
I can imagine the increase in your heart rate as you were notified of the picture in your account. Then the increase again when you saw this. There is something very special about ordering a Ferrari to your specs and then seeing it in process. Now you are imagining what it will be like when it arrives. It will be even better than you imagine! The F12b looks great and congratulations!
Justin, at last I managed to take delivery of my F12b. Only been up the road and back in it, but my golly are you going to be impressed. Feels so much smaller than the FF, very easy to place on the road, super nimble and the performance...well I can't say yet as I've only done a few miles, but feels like FF + 30 pcnt. rides better too. I am delighted I made the switch, just sorry the kids can't come along for the ride any more !
Thanks Caeruleus and Landa. I'm told my car should arrive at my dealer next week sometime, then a few days at Topaz, so hopefully in my garage for Easter weekend but cutting it fine. Seawise, thanks for the feedback. Your car sounds epic! Perhaps you could post some more pics when you get a chance?
Is it just me? 1am in the morning, I am too excited to sleep, picking up my new f12 in 8 hours. Feel like an 8yr old on Christmas Eve!
Hope you got some sleep. Apparently Sunday is going to be a glorious day, perfect for your new car. Pics please and congratulations!
ok guys sorry to disappoint re pictures - I have been too busy driving! what a glorious day to drive. Car is epic, the handling, the engine, the noise. I am lucky enough to have owned or still own 550,575 and 599 but this is light years ahead. Justin you are in for a real treat. Drove down to Oxfordshire today and bumped into a grigio ferro ( I think ) F12 - FF12FER - chances of that happening! Build quality is great but rear camera has a mind of its own and it works when it wants to, other times I have a black screen- this happened to anyone else? Also rear sensors are red when something is 6ft away, not 20inches away so need adjusting I would think. Kids don't like it - suits me just fine - as with the carbon racing seats being so low they all need to go back to a booster seat again. All in all put about 400 miles on the car and had a marvellous weekend.
I did actually manage 1 picture before I got underway- with an excited 8 year old in the car! My picture doesn't do the car justice however. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congratulations I can tell you are absolutely marveled with your new F12b but let me tell you that you not alone because I'm absolutely marveled with mine too. Reading about your 400 miles weekend drive I get jealous in the good way because a journey like that is my plans already as soon as I have the time. The rear sensors need getting used too and also get red when the car is 6ft away from a pilar in my garage so seems to be the factory standard setting. Continuou enjoying the car as much as you can ...
