Selling a F40 rear bonnet that has been repaired by composite company that repairs Ferrari Los Angeles' (Rosso Corsa) 458 & 488 race teams carbon fiber parts after collisions. Factory F40 carbon/kevlar cloth was used for the repairs.

This Bonnet comes with all the parts you see in the photos. The rear screen not factory, so wouldn't be included, unless you'd like it for some reason. ;o)

The last F40 rear clip/bonnet for sale, that needed repairs ($5,000+ worth) was in Japan and had an asking price of $32K. It's no longer for sale, & assumed sold. It had no tail & no rear tail light bezels. The tail's sell for a bit under $5,000 & the taillight bezels sell for about $1,800pr.

I have pair of the tail light insulation covers if you need them also.

Priced to sell at $34,000 USD. Shipping within the US will be less than $1000. International shipping is possible. It can be crated for shipment... not a problem.

It does look good hanging in MY shop/garage.
Maybe look at it like this: It's MUCH less expensive than a Picasso. ;o) And looks better. hehe
Also, it will hold it's value.

How does it hold its value? Do you mean waiting for the next F40 rear crash and rebuild where this will be the last rear hood left?

Yup. That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it.
Someone's always going to crash one (I think).
At least one or two a year seems to be how it goes.

    Very nice.

I thought you guys had the moulds and reproduced these now along with many of the other F40 panels?

You're right... we do have panels in fiberglass (parts we can make). Say you'd want to make a race car based on a 308 or 328.

For the originals parts, we can supply them also. Original parts are quite a bit more $$ as you'd probably imagine because they're
    done as per Ferrari's specs.

*This particular Rear Bonnet is an original that's been repaired after some damage.

    Ah I see.

As we also have a complete F40 rear clip with screen and trims for a project car of ours I have a vested interest in really wanting you to secure your asking price :) very rare items and one of the first things to shatter in a rear end accident.

Sorry to take a few days to get back to you. Been fairly busy. Plus it's difficult to find my add (it drops down on the fore sale list) when I return to this thread, to see if there's been any activity/questions. ;o)
I hear you regarding the sale of the bonnet. I did see the guys in Japan that had a lightly damaged rear bonnet (no extras, only rear bonnet) on Ebay in the last 6 months, seems like they have sold theirs. Their asking price was a bit over $30K.... and it disappeared off ebay. I'd image it sold... as I've also seen their F40 seats disappear off Ebay after being on there for a few months.
