Hi new here...Just wanted to share pics of my 458. Please enjoy! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I like the use of the GT3 mirrors and the Liberty Walk kit without the visible bolts holding the wheel arch extensions on. For sure you will not get lost in a sea of stock 458's. Welcome to F-Chat
Follow you on Insta, love your fleet! Hands down my favorite LW458 build. Welcome, and enjoy my friend!
Welcome to the forum! Always nice to see what people do as far as customizing their cars. I'll say this: you must have exceptionally smooth and flat roads where you live! Ray
OK I'll ask what most are thinking... why??? It's like painting a mustache on the Mona Lisa. By posting here were you in any way hoping for a warm reception as I highly doubt that'll happen most everyone here are pretty much truists to original design and maintaining them as such.
why? Its a production car, maybe not in the volume of a civic, but still a cookie cuter car. I think it looks very good in the pictures. Congrats on making the car your own.
Is everyone thinking that? Or is everything quietly wondering why you are being so rude to a new user of this forum, when all they have done is post a welcome message? Hard to know for sure... However, I will say this: while there are certainly many users of this forum who err on the side of 'just leave it as Ferrari designed it', I think there are also many people who do enjoy seeing how some owners modify their cars. I enjoy both, myself. So remember: you don't represent everyone here; you only represent yourself - and so far, you're not off to a great start from what I can see. Ray
No I was being serious. My guess is that this is a troll (based upon all of 1 post and the nature of the post) but time will tell but either way it doesn't matter. Sorry I had no idea honesty offends you so and that everything and everyone deserves soft cuddles and sweet precious things said... often times there are opposing ideas and everyone should be free to share those even when a snowflake takes offense. I know that today if someones opinion doesn't coincide that it's considered rude racist, offensive, etc to some, others wear big-boy pants are realize we're not affected by words. If you don't like most posts don't read them, if they are against forum policy ban me now but you'll hardly silence me If that is truly his car good for him hope he's happy, when someone goes to extremes like that car embodies not all feel it's "the bees knees", not all need to coddle. I do need to be corrected by you nor do I care for your assessment of my post
One thing is for sure. In Japan, This guy would be the coolest kid on the block, especially with his this LW sitting next to a bagged Supra and Honda Civic.
Your guess is he's a troll? Right... based on what? Lack of posts? You have only posted 8 times yourself - does that make you a troll too? Don't answer that... If I'm not mistaken, I believe this is the gentleman's Instagram account, complete with 13,500 followers: https://www.instagram.com/angelcitygtr/ And regarding your snowflake allegations: I was merely suggesting that, in all likelihood, more people on this forum might be rubbed the wrong way by a very harsh welcome, than by the OP's very modified 458. I have pretty thick skin (I don't ever moisturize, even though I probably should), and I thought your post there was a bit on the harsh side. Anyway, post whatever you see fit, of course. Here's the link to forum policy, in case you need it: FerrariChat.com Rules Welcome to you both! Ray
Also thought the post above seemed a little on the not-friendly-enough side of the spectrum for a welcome. Not that it really matters, as people who can afford Ferraris are probably confident enough to brush it off. I think the car looks great - I do wonder if the modifications improve the driving dynamics of it though. Welcome and looking forward to more pics of the car as well as some ownership impressions.
Welcome, car looks great. Definitely like the kit without the visible bolts. Is there a way to mold the extensions into the fenders to give it a more organic look? More so asking out of curiousity. I'd like to do something with my car, just not sure if I want to go subtle or really mod it. Anyway welcome to the forum, and very cool looking car.
So someone with less than 10 posts calls a new poster a troll? That is precious. Its not about opposing ideas and the ability to freely share your opinions. Its called tact and class, both of which you are not displaying much of. Would you walk up to this person and tell them to their face your feelings about his car? then why do you think its ok to make rude posts to a new user on a forum?
Ignore the negative comments. It's your car, your money, do whatever you want with it. Personally I think it's always great to add something of 'your own' so to speak, to a car you own and I don't think Ferrari should be exempt from that rule. The GT3 mirrors are really cool, how does it ride on the road? Also is that a nardo grey wrap or did you repaint it? PS love the lack of visible bolts as someone mentioned, looks cool..
Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed ? That's harsh bro especially coming from a newbee. Sour grapes man. Life is short so enjoy your day. Let's congratulate the guy and you may feel better. Best , Kirk
Thanks for the honest response. Not looking for any approval, just want to share for those who are interested in seeing something different. No trolling here, really appreciate the knowledge gained from your forum and wanted to contribute as best I can. Thanks for looking. Steve
