Seems like a while back I saw a video from those two adolescents that claimed to make a fortune on lemonade (look like trust-fund kids to me) describing what they thought were problem areas on Ferraris. They said the door opener fails on the 360s a lot and when it does, there's no way to get out of the car. The door opener is electrically operated. Is it possible to get stuck inside the car if the electrics fail?

"The kids that bought a Ferrari 355 that then broke 3 days after because they didn't get a PPI and find out what the clutch life was" kids? Don't take advice on youtube about Ferrari's from two young men who OBVIOUSLY have trust fund $$$$ that they try to pass off as made by themselves? (Hint: You can't trade stocks as a minor so how did they do it in high school..)

In the 360 the inner door handle is controlled by a pull cable. In the inner pull handle is a lock button that had an adjustable rod that goes to the lock mechanism. If this is out of alignment or out of spec, you can't lock/unlock it. But that little tab in the door handle, it unlocks the doors. That's a mechanical mechanism that should override the electric locks.

They were right, they are a common failure point. Even Rob Feretti (who is on this forum) said that all the 360's he has had to have all doors repaired. Doesn't change the fact that those kids are ******bags.

Sooner or later this seems to happen to them all. I had my passenger side break for no apparent reason. The inside wouldn't work but I could still open and close using the outside handle. It's not a cheap fix and involves an update to a 430 part which requires being modified to fit/work right.

Getting locked in the 360 though? Only if driver and passenger (both inside and outside) failed at the same time and you had a dead battery (couldn't open the windows to escape Dukes of Hazzard style). You'd have to be extremely unlucky for all of those conditions to happen but it COULD happen.

It happened to me once the door would not open from the inside, drivers door, only from outside, I thought the cable snapped and when I checked inside the cable just got loose because the thing that holds it is like a plastic thingy, took me a while to put it back (tricky) but if it happens to anyone don't panic yet.

It happened to me in a 06 Gallardo while killing time in a consigner's warehouse .... 'had to wait for the sales guy to reappear to let me out. It was a long 10 minutes!... I did consider climbing over the console but figured... Naaaah.
