330 GT 2+2 did China Rally

This is a fun but less known event I attended 1st time last Oct: Classic Cars Challenge China (4C), sharing photos & videos below. 2017 will be the 7th Annual Beijing-Shanghai 2,000 Km Rally, I plan to attend again.

Glad that you guys enjoying these contents. I shipped this Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider from San Francisco to Beijing, the only American entry last year. 8-day driving + 4-day sight seeing = 12-day epic trip. Mechanic on-site, luggage arranged hotel to hotel, all 5 stars. Taking off from the Great Wall, driving along the 2,500 years Grand Canal & small towns, quite a unique way to see China. Marvelous. Adventure of a lifetime. May I ask the story behind the photographs where there is what appears to be corn cobs along the road? Truck overturned? Drying the harvest?

It's rural China, Oct harvest time. With limited resources, people share the backroads: cars, tricycle, bicycle even to use them to dry corn, grain, vegetable. The 400 photos & 3 videos captured the entire 9-day adventure.

 

That was my guess since you mentioned it was October. Thanks, again...T
