'95 355 Spider, US car. 2 pictures attached. One is a male 2-pin plug, coming from the harness out of the right back. The other picture shows the same plug on the left bank, but plugged into the only matching female connector I can fine (also out of the left bank). Can anybody tell me what these are possibly supposed to plug into? These are all I have left before test firing this engine. Thanks!

Thermocouples? Are those connected up? (they live under the ECU's on each side, small black boxes about the size of a pack of cigarettes

These are right at the back of the engine block, coming out of the valley. The EGT's are hooked up to their respective modules where they belong. Thanks.

Here's a bit better picture to see where they're coming from. Mind you, I didn't assemble the engine, and the harness was already laid and coming out of the valley when I received it.

OK - I have my harness out of the car and I believe I found that connector. It comes out the same shrink tubing as the oil pressure sender wires. I'll look thru my photos to see what connects to it.

Any chance that goes to the speed sensor on the transaxle?

Which one? I have 3 2-pin plugs to terminate.

OK, I found that unplugged on this transaxle. So I assume the black 2-pin male plug is the one that plugs into that, yes? What about the red one from the right side? Does that red one plug into the unused 2-pin female on the left side, and thats it?

The 2-pin male should have red/white and green/white wires. The speedo sensor can have different wire colours, so it doesn't have to colour match the 2-pin male.

Assuming that's the only one left :D

If you post the wire colors, I can tell you where things go.

Thank you! The black 2-pin on the left side matches those colors, so I plugged that in.

I've been trying to avoid pulling back the rubber boots if possible, some of them are dry rotted and I didn't want to ruin them anymore than some of them already are. HOWEVER - with only the female 2-pin, and the red/yellow plug'd 2-pin left, I did pull back the boots to find they are both a larger gauge black and white wires. I'm confident they belong together :D
