I would just say, what's the endgame? Life is short. Don't waste several more years of your life waking up literally every day to trash an inanimate object you claim you don't care about on the internet. It's a quixotic endeavor.

Spend more time with your family. Read more books. Learn to play the piano. Take up painting. I really do feel fremdschämen here. I realize it's part of a coordinated good cop bad cop act, but take the advice of the good cop. How angry can you get? It's just a car.

The obsession is so unhealthy. At first, Camilo Pardo was used as a prop in a martyrdom story when he thought he didn't get a car. Now Camilo is a prop as a loser with no money because he did get a car. Is everyone going to be collateral damage to the obsession depending on whether or not they help you hack at the windmill? Even the universally loved guy that designed the car you own?

Where does it end? (I realize this is a rhetorical question; after this long, it clearly doesn't)

Yep the suspension is one of the more interesting and innovative parts of the car, along with the aero. It will be interesting to see impact on future super car's the fgt has.

Exactly. Whether its FChat, Facebook, or another forum, people who spend time trash talking anything need to get a grip and figure out why so much internal anger.

 

Lol. Yeah, I made the same connection the first time I saw him. He is brilliant and speaks his mind. He has always been very nice every time I've spoken to him.

 

The keel/aero package on the car is really something. The LCAs attach nearly at the center of the car per F1 practice and are very long as a result. The rear wing has a cam activated Gurney flap that raises in certain driving modes.

I'm not sure how much of this tech will impact other production cars. The NFGT is kind of unique in that it's so focused on the racing aspect. There are probably more practical solutions for road-oriented cars. Appropriate race components can be fitted to those cars when their manufacturers take them racing. Ford went in the opposite direction and simply included many of the race components into the street car. The theme of the recent SAE presentation was the substantial similarity between the race and production cars.

No doubt all this racing tech will make nfgt incredible car. Just wish it had a more emotive motor

 

I understand that. I want the engine that it raced and won with, so a V6 it is. In fairness, the street car sounds nothing like the race car and it sounds good from what I've heard so far.

 

How does that even make sense?

 

Making a race car have a street-legal sound level would likely change the sound a bit, don't you think?

Look, I know you're itching to pick a fight that you can win, but we've already been over this. Repeat after me: side exhausts on the race car, rear exhaust on the street car. The street car sounds nothing like the race car. Are you deaf?

 

You seem very angry? Do you have any video that you think paints a fair picture as to how the street car sounds? Take a deep breath ok.
