vracer... Front tires are 12 years old and the rear are 10 years old. No cracks and not obvious issues. Having said that, next Saturday (factory size) Michelin PSS2s are going on.

    ^^ Agreed.

Those stances look great, and I'd bet Ferrari would send them out from the factory looking close to that if they could.

Most notably it evened out the look. The measurement from the rocker panels was different on each corner. One could argue that the rock bottom plate may not by design supposed to be the same height from front to back (but I assume), however left to right would seem moreso.

So we put some weight in the car on the driver side (not my total weight) and then evened out the corners. This was about ride height while driving. This wasn't about corner balancing the weight of the car.

The driver side is just slightly higher than the passenger when nobody is in the car. It is almost impossible to see from the naked eye even with back to back pics. In a couple weeks I'll have the alignment checked and have it aligned with weight in the driver position. I normally drive alone.

Thought I would share this. Buddy took pic in Berlin about 15 years ago. Driver saw copper and double parked anyway, but pearl white GTS has to be the rarest of the rare?

    Challenge alignment and ride height:

    Springs:

    2200 lb/in F
    900 lb/in R

    Ride Height:

    90 mm F
    95 mm R

Measurements are taken from the bottom of the chassis, just behind the front
wheel centerline and just ahead of the rear wheel centerline, not including the
undertray. Cross weight must be within 10 pounds with driver and 1/2 tank fuel.

I've attached my F355 Challenge Alignment print-out. Caster is factory spec.

Thanks, Dave. My fixed-mount Garmin Dash Cam doesn't give you the true sense of the 31 degrees of banking on the NASCAR tri-oval. The "Gyro-Cam" does...

When you're settin' there in the driver's seat you can only see out the corner of the windshield. An' the thing is never flat. It's always tilted! Even goin' down the straightaway it's tilted. Look at that! Oh man, you can get into a lot of trouble goin' down there, 'specially three wide. An' heck, you see how quickly...I mean you're goin' into the turn an' it don't gradually load up, it loads up all at once with all them G-forces pushin' you down into the seat!

Ya gotta love how Darrell Waltrip talks!

    :)

Yes and maybe just a little.
I put it on half of the car first as a test and honestly barely noticed a difference. I then applied it to the rest and to my 14yr old e55. The e55 is noticeably glossier than before. Once i rolled them outside and looked at the 355 as a whole, i did look slightly better. So my opinion is it depends on how good the finish was before. The 355 was near perfect, and the e55 was not. Either way, it smells great! lol
