    Keith Duckworth (of Cosworth) wrote a withering review of the Jag V12, in particular it's terrible combustion chamber design. They made every mistake in the book and ended up with an engine that was heavy, inefficient and had designed-in cooling issues.

    Weslake redesigned the heads (the "HE" engine) and improved it somewhat, but a small block Chev weighs less and makes more power.
