    I have an euro 360 spider. seems like I can not access the valves from the top. the muffler heat shield runs the length of the recess and there is no room on either side?

    Do i need to remove the rear grille to access?

    Remove rear wheels then remove rear lower section of inner wheel guard u shud get access from there. God Luk

    On the Euro version, how hard is it to remove the silencer. On the US version is very easy and then have easy access from above. Takes about 10 minutes max.

    I don't recall having to do anything special with my exhaust valves. I assume that you are trying to get at them to pull the line so they will stay open. I believe what I did was do this at the solenoids themselves. Easier to get at with the OEM back box then the valves themselves.

    Back box as in the silencer, muffler, 50lb shiny thing in the back....

    Solenoids were accessible on my car (99 Modena) by reaching in the openings behind the tail lights. I don't recall what I did, either pulled the vacuum line off the solenoid or unplugged the connection, but either way, it worked.

    Yep, unplug the electrical connectors on the solenoid. You do not need to remove muffler.

    I read the post, but I guess I didn't comprehend what I was reading....

    On the Modena, there are huge openings on either side of the muffler that I can stuff a small child in...not that I would mind you...

    Spider....look into what you have to do to change the rear bulbs. That should get you in the right area where the valves are located.

    If the OP only wants to force the valves open all the time, then, yes, the easiest thing to do on the 360 is to unplug the solenoid valves on each side of the car. These valves are immediately in front of the tail light assemblies. Unplugging the solenoid valves will result in forcing the bypass valves open at all times and it will not result in a CEL or DTC. Don't do this on later model Ferrari's as it will result in DTCs being logged to the ECU ... which may result in a CEL down the road.

    If you want the ability to toggle the bypass valves open and closed, then you will do best to install an exhaust controller such as the Forza Controller.
