    Specifically, does that mean its a 2018 model when the car is finally complete in Italy on or after June 1?

    My 458 Spider that was built May 2014 came delivered in July 2014 as a 2015 model year car.

    My 458 Spider is listed everywhere (Italy, FNA, registration) as a 2014, the door sticker is June 2013, so obviously must start as early as June.

    Models built at the end of July are usually the next model year. Usually it's those that are delivered in late Aug and early September

    I ordered in May, 2015 and my order said it was a 2015 car.
    The factory changed it to a 2016 year but did not increase the price.
    It was delivered to me in mid-October.
