Does the Scud stripe add an extra 20bhp?

Looks like I'm in the minority on this one, and that's okay! Different strokes, etc.

Nothing worse than this but maybe just maybe it's a Ferrari with a miata body on it. :D

All of this talk pushed me into doing the stripes. I like them - and no, I am not trying to make it a scud - maybe it is the ricer in me that just needed a little bling...

I went with a narrower set of stripes - seems to make the car look a bit wider. I also decided to run the stripes AROUND the Ferrari emblem on the back I took the emblem off and it was so hard to read over the stripes. I almost just left them off - but decided to cut them and leave the Ferrari emblem back there.

I might change it up to another type of stripe later on...for now, I dig it.

Looks good. I do like the Tricolore. I sometimes consider swapping my nero/grigio stripe for one.

I was never a big fan modifying any car. Especially when you are trying to mimic another car. If anything I would buy the "other" car and call it a day.

If I were in the market to buy a 430 and came across two identical ones, but one of them had the Scuderia front bumper, I'd prefer it with the Scuderia front as I find it more pleasing to my eyes than the stock one.

That's one small reason why I prefer the front of my 360 over a 430. Too bad manual 430's are going for a fair bit more than what I paid for my manual 360 :\

I am glad that I found this page...

I decided to go really bright and run Black/yellow double strips.

Grigio is beautiful but I really needed more pop. My car is super loud and sounds like F1 so Yellow Calipers and Yellow strips??

The inside has black carpet with yellow trim and gray seats.

Lets see what mine will look like tomorrow. I will post before and after.

I love Grigio and I didn't think the stripes would work on it, but I'm wrong. I do like the look more than I thought. Just different enough to make it pop. Good job.

After seeing a few samples of Scuderia stripes installed on cars and how great they look, I took the plunge myself. I ordered the stripes which came in 3 pieces and installed them myself on a cloudy day. There's a good internet video of how to do it somewhere. I think the price difference comes down to the finish of the stripe, e.g. how glossy, metallic it is.

Just take the time to measure, measure and measure again. I debadged the car to apply the decals.

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and think that it enhances the car's lines. All removable should I want to revert back.

That's obvious, given you have a spider. So you're trying to make it a 16M! ;):D

I actually prefer the front/back bumper of the standard F430, but prefer the carbon parts of the Scud, seats, steering wheel, wheels, and obv the F1 system. Not a fan of the stripes (nor Scud shields). I'm doing what I can to rectify the situation :)

To each his own. I would think that tasteful factory upgrades like Scud wheels and seats on F430s would be supported on FChat. I understand badges and things like that but I prefer factory upgrades to aftermarket or no upgrades at all.

Sometimes factory updates can be ridiculously costly or not available anymore. So aftermarket is your choice in that situation. And as many have said, the wisdom lies in keeping the stock parts in storage. No harm done whatsoever and everything is reversible.

I love my scud wheels and challlenge grills. My car absolutely needed those.
