I am posting this on behalf of my father, who is not very proficient with technology.
Please let me know if you are interested and would like additional information and/or pictures. I have plenty of pics of the various stages of the restoration process, and can put you in contact with my father to discuss further.

1979 Ferrari 308 GTB Euro Dry Sump
    Black/Black
    73,xxx miles
Car is sitting on 17" speedlines currently, but he does have the original 14" wheels which will be included with the sale.
    COMPLETE mechanical restoration just finished.
    Here are the basics/highlights:

    MECHANICAL:
-Complete suspension overhaul (new shocks, bushings throughout. blasted and powder coated A-arms). New steering rack bushings and tie rods.
    -New wheel bearings
-Brake calipers rebuilt, new hoses, rotors, and pads.
-Engine-out overhaul. The engine had been refreshed at some point prior to his ownership with new pistons, etc. As part of the restoration, he removed the heads, had a valve job done (complete with new guides), and everything was completely resealed (new gaskets throughout engine and gearbox).
Compression 175-185 across all 8 cylinders.
-ALL hoses and lines replaced. Every piece of rubber in the car has been replaced with new.
    -New clutch
-Fuel tanks removed and cleaned, new fuel lines, pump, and filter.
    -Carbs rebuilt
-Standard "major service" items (belts, new water pump, etc.)
    -New exhaust (correct single pipe)
-AC system refreshed (new A/C compressor, receiver/dryer, and expansion valve)

    EXTERIOR:
-The car was repainted at some point prior to his ownership, but the paint is in great shape and did not need to be addressed.

    INTERIOR:
    -New carpets throughout
    -recovered center console
-Electric window system refreshed (new motors, cables, and window channels).
    -New door seals

The car is in excellent shape inside and out and absolutely everything has been addressed. It truly needs nothing and is ready to be driven and enjoyed.

    Asking price is $130k

Can I be audacious and ask for the chassis number and engine number? That would be nice for the "trainspotters"...

99,9% perfect. Swap the rear lights with the indicator lights and it will be 100%. :)

That's a huge discussion... have asked that here before. many people saying some cars came like that out of the factory, others saying no way. Couldn't get to a conclusion just yet...

    Entertaining offers.
This is a very rare opportunity for US buyers on a FULLY sorted car that is already located and registered here in the US.

Chris, do you know if this car was ever registered in VT? The first Ferrari I ever drove (or even sat in) - on my wedding day! - was a '79 black euro GTB with 17" speedline wheels just like this one....

Small world! It could well be the same car...
Unfortunately I have no idea on the registration history.
