    Get those cigars out of the carton boxes. That's the problem. Very gently clean the cigars with a dry Scott towel and they should be fine. It's happened to me before ... the problem is that the carton does not absorb humidity like cedar boxes and causes this to happen.

    Interestingly I had some Monte's do the same thing several years back. Might have been in my mind but they tasted funny after that to me.

    That is most definitely mold. It's getting pretty bad but if it's just that you can wipe it off and smoke it. I worry once its eaten its way through the wrapper or you can see any on the foot.

    My vote is mold, too. Mold looks furry.

    Did they come from BellHop Cigars?
