Great video! Nice to see a Miura driven especially in the snow.

So is there a little oil bypassing the rings or running rich?

Really enjoyed that, thanks for posting.

Oddly, the last time I drove my Miura was also in the snow.

The Miura badge design is easily my all time favourite. Who designed the badge?

I think it is Piero Stropa, who worked with Marcello Gandini in the period.

The original Lamborghini V12 had no oil seals on the valve stems, so you always had some smoke. It is especially noticeable on start up after the car has been sitting a bit.

    Correct, Piero made it.

He was the only direct assistant of Marcello...

Took my SV out for a spin today first time after the winter hibernation. What a very special car on so many levels. Fueling it at a local gas station resulted in a small crowd. I was very surprised when two 15-16 year old boys ran over and said, wow a Miura! Never seen one live. It's amazing to see that teens recognize this 50 year old icon.

Come on, Geno! It's one of the worlds most beautiful cars - forever. I was a kid not so long ago :)

Not that long ago the kids would have read about the Miura being referenced in auto magazines. It's like the music thing - Metallica<Black Sabbath<Beatles<Chuck Berry etc.
Now they can "drive" the Miura around the Nurburgring on their desktop PC.
